  1. Turner has done his job. Coming off the bench he's delivered some clutch points for us down the stretch, playing solid defense, and also he's around the ball like crazy for the rebounds. He's exactly what you want coming off the bench, he's done his job. Elton Brand washed up? Are you sure about that? He has a stat line currently of 18ppg, 9.6rpg, 2.6spg, and 1.8bpg. He's looked better then ever in a 76ers uniform, and quite honestly I'm seeing a lot of resemblance from his ol' 20-10 days with the clippers. He seems to be way more aggressive, his shot is on, I really love what I'm seeing out of EB. Hawes hasn't been amazing, and although he's starting for us, he barely sees back up minutes. He's only averaging 16mpg, and in those 16mpg though, he's played some solid defense (1.2bpg) and just doing what he's asked to do. Iggy isn't going to get any better.. because he doesn't have to. He's not our best scorer on this team, it's Lou Williams. Trust me, Lou Williams, everyone will know the name of him by seasons end. He's easily our best pure scorer, and he's doing exactly what Jamal Crawford was doing last season in the same exact role. Playing the 6th man role, and seeing starters minutes and putting up major points. Anyhow, were definitely not the worst team in the league.. This team has too much depth and just overall too much talent to be the worst team. We should have ripped off 2 straight right now, damn Wizards game  IMO, the worst teams are: East: Raptors West: T-Wolves
  2. It's about time we finally got a win. Elton Brand looks fantastic this season.. Dare I say he's looking like his.. 20-10 form we all expected when he signed that contract? In all honesty, I really want for this team to do great. I haven't been so excited about a group of guys on a 76ers team for a long time, I'd say until 2004 when we first got Chris Webber (Hey, I didn't know it was going to turn out like that..) But honestly, this team has a [expletive] load of depth, and I love it. Lou Williams, Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner off the bench has been great for us. Turner has seen some clutch minutes and has done pretty good for us. Really impressed with his defense honestly.
  3. I definitely didn't know that Gordon could dunk like that.. He doesn't seem like the type to do that.
  4. Can't stress enough how badly we need this win. We have beatable opponents coming up, we can get back to .500 definitely if we just play right.
  5. Iv'e always liked this. If you need to contact someone and you don't know if they've been on all day, it's a great tool to use.
  6. Phil Jackson. The rings speak for themselves.
  7. Wow, that's very odd and the comparison is obvious and makes complete sense.
  8. Larry Browns a great coach no doubt about it, but I'm not sure if he'd want to get an extension with the Bobcats at his age.
  9. PG: Steve Nash SG: Ray Allen SF: Kevin Durant PF: Tim Duncan C: Dwight Howard Anyone saying Kobe Bryant has no class.
  10. There completely pointless. It's just there because that's the way basketball was made, it's just tradition.
  11. I don't see any trade in which I'd be satisfied with the return. All the trades I'm hearing is to trade him purely because he doesn't mesh with Turner. I understand that and it makes sense, but if your going to do that, get a fair return. Don't just trade him for lower then market value because he doesn't fit your system..
  12. Yeah, it's pretty sad to see honestly. I really hope we find a way to make Jrue and Turner co-exist. We need them to, they don't have a choice really.
  13. Gotta get the first win here. We've battled back these past two games, but eventually you have to win.
  14. Stern is such a joke.. He brings this up, just after saying there's a possibility of contracting teams? The travel time would never work also. The idea is good, but it just wouldn't work.
  15. I was a G-Mod on RSZ until it died. You probably know me from there, or, at least that's where I recognize you from. Also, thanks for the welcomes guys.
  16. Let me be the first one in over a year to revive this: Year You Became a Fan: I'd say in the 2002-2003 season was when I truly became a fan. I was 9-10 at the time, so that was about the age I started to get into all sports. Why You Became a Fan: I live in South Jersey, about 10 minutes away from Philly, so I grew up as a Philadelphia sports fan in general. The 76ers are no exception. Favorite 76ers Player, All-Time: Julius Erving and Allen Iverson. I grew up as Iverson being the best thing that the 76ers had in forever, he was so exciting and although he never gave us an NBA Championship, he gave up so many exciting moments. Favorite 76ers Coach, All-Time: Larry Brown. It's who I grew up to love. Favorite 76ers Moment: 2001 NBA Finals Game 1, easily. Even winning 1 game was a huge upset, let alone game 1. Everyone thought it was going to be another dominating sweep by the Lakers, and we basically gave them a huge slap in the face. Amount of 76ers Games Attended: Less than I should have, probably between 10-20 only. About 3-4 a year. Hopefully it will be around 10 a year soon enough though.
  17. Meh, not really a big Eric Snow fan in terms of him being a color analyst. He's no better then Pickney honestly, and I actually think I like Pickney a bit more. Snow just seems clueless at times and always is caught saying like 'uhhh' and just rambles on about stuipd [expletive]. I'll cut him a break though since he's new at this, but I'm not really liking what I hear thus far from him.
  18. Hey everyone. The names Dan, aka Philly Diehard, aka PDH . Iv'e been around forums for about 2 years, and Iv'e been on many, so I'm sure some of you must know me. I live, breathe Philadelphia sports, and that includes the 76ers as well. Will definitely be active around here, or at least try to.
