  1. There are a lot of vids of the last few seconds with Lebron jumping up and down...I just wanted to hear what the fans were chanting while Lebron was jumping up and down after he got benched, they were chanting something, but I couldn't figure out what it was...it wasn't MVP.
  2. I actually saw that in the game, but I wasn't quite sure if what I saw was actually the ref or Mike Miller lol
  3. I think it was pretty clear that Lebron is miles ahead of Durant in most parts of the game. Even if you despise Lebron and love Durant, you have to admit Lebron showed him who was boss in this series. Durant did not take the task of defending Lebron, if you want to be great, or want to improve your defense, you should take the responsibility of guarding the other team's best player. Lebron defended every position on the floor, and basically played every position, Durant stuck to guarding the easiest guy he could find and really just stuck to shooting jumpers with the occasional post up and dunk. Not talking down on Durant, but he could have done so much more in this series to improve his game, but he stepped away from all the tasks he will need to take to get the team a title. I hope he learned from this experience and takes to learning how to play proper defense in the off season, because everytime he was on Lebron, he was taken off the dribble and caught reaching....that is how I saw it. I look forward to seeing him improve because he can be very scary when he develops more of his game.
  4. I would say we have the best chance..who in the East can beat us? Indiana gave us a great run, so I think they can beat us, Nets might be getting much better next year, and Boston still has Rondo, Pierce, and Avery. Chicago won't have Rose for much of next year, and they might make some changes on that team. There are maybe 3-4 teams that can cause us trouble, but if we keep a lot of this team together, we should be fine. Not even worried about Wade, he might have bad games, but he shows up when it matters.
  5. Anyone following Skip Bayless? He must hate his life right now, having to give Lebron credit.
  6. I was gonna go to Sports Authority, but I am just going to order stuff online. My friend just started working at the Heat store in the arena yesterday, but I don't want to bother him either.
  7. Bad thing now is I have to buy the championship gear to preserve the memories lol....about $75 are about to go down on shirts and a cap. http://www.miamihoopsgear.com/assets/product_images/PACIADIKFMEKAPLA.jpg The no lens glasses are a hit lol
  8. I would love to go to the parade, it might rain like crazy, but I would go.
  9. Yessssss. So happy for this team, and the city was just absolutely crazy last night. We easily played the most balanced game since this team was put together, the threes were flying tonight and Mike Miller could not be stopped. This is what this team is capable of, and I am glad I saw it in action in the biggest stage. Also, tickets for the game are ridiculous. About $200 per ticket just for standing room up in the nose bleeds, I saw some tickets up to $300 for nosebleed and above $50,000 for court side...I know that last year, my ECF tickets were in the ball park of $750 per ticket at the very last row of the 100 section, so finals tickets are probably more.
  10. Well guys, im out, hope to return to this site later tonight with us having won the title.
  11. I didn't go to a single playoff game this year ..my dad's boss was not in the giving mood this year.
  12. Jesus Christ, that will probably make it to 1 million by the end of today if it continues. Good for her, money won't buy her happiness, but it will sure make her life 1000x better.
  13. The thing with this series, is that there is no certain advantage to any team, every game comes down to the last few seconds. We could have won with a sweep, could have lost with a sweep, the situation could be flipped where we are down 3-1 instead of up 3-1. No idea what will happen tonight, but no doubt in my mind that a loss here would be disastrous for us. I don't think we fear playing in OKC, I just don't want OKC to figure things out in time to turn it around against us. They are dead meat right now, all they can do is hope Durant and Westbrook score even more than they have already, and we have been able to withstand that anyway. The crowd tonight will be crazy and I just hope for a win tonight. I think we will get it done.
  14. I don't think your toughness determines what your body is going to do to you, if you have leg cramps and you can't do anything useful on the court, then there is not much you can do but wait for your body to get over it. I never understood the logic in calling someone a [expletive] because they get injured. Just like if these hockey guys took a puck to the face, they are not going to bounce back up in 2 seconds like they were hit by a feather, they will need a bit of time to recover. I guess I am not a [expletive] though because I played basketball for an entire year with a torn ACL. Thats not being tough, thats just being an idiot and risking further injury.
  15. I completely ruined my Kobe Bryant shoes that I have had for a few years now...I was walking around school and stepped in the deepest puddle ever, it went past my ankle and got one of my shoes completely soaked. Trying to save them right now lol
  16. You guys think Lebron is a douche? These guys make themselves seem like the manliest of men, tooting their own horns. Never heard of any of them though.
  17. They better win it at home, people are planning parties already, and I sure as hell am gonna go out and enjoy one on a Thursday night with no school the next day..don't want to wait until Sunday for game 6 either, I have a huge test the next day.
  18. I have a feeling we are getting a bit too cocky, even the fans are getting a bit too cocky. This is going to be the hardest game all year. I have no doubt that we are the better team, but when we lose focus, we get into trouble. I just hope Lebron realizes he is one game away and just goes ape shit. We have taken all of OKC's punches, their star players have torched us, but they can do nothing else to beat us. No defense for Lebron, Durant is not stepping up to stop our best player, and their low post defense is pretty bad (aside from Ibaka's occasional block)...there is no reason for us to lose this game, only way we lose is to get out hustled, they can only hope to outscore us. Even with their two guys showing up, they can't blow us out, maybe Harden will show up, but I doubt it.
  19. ABC is terrible at censoring, Westbrook says "[expletive]" every time he scores.
  20. Oh my lord, will Wade get shit for wearing those glasses? I feel like he will.
  21. Well he didn't move to take those shots either...he caught an outlet pass and banked it in immediately, and then he walked to the three point line and got lucky, the other three was just a straight air ball because he was just standing in place.
  22. I have no idea what happened to Lebron, either he suffered the longest most painful cramp of his life, or he messed up his leg. Game 5 will not be easy, but I hope we close this down at home. The Heat are the exception to every Finals trend I have ever heard, so I would not be surprised if we somehow drop 3 in a row. Lebron in the post is just unstoppable for the OKC. Durant won't guard him, so he can just toy with Harden and pass to shooters when he feels the double team. Ibaka and Perkins have not been as scary as advertised, especially Perkins. Their team lives and dies on shooting, and they got all the shooting they could possibly get in game 1 and 4 from Westbrook and they can not pull away from us. Can not wait for Thursday, I wish I could just fast forward about 45 hours of my life.
  23. How about those fans? I watched this game in my living room with surround sound and I could actually here it, we actually started chanting the seven nation army thing at one point...never thought I would see the day lol Westbrook shit on us, but he ruined the game for his team, sorry to say it.
  24. I [expletive]ing love you Mario Chalmers, I take back all the shit I said about you.
  25. Lebron has been scoring a very quiet 30 ppg in this series (I think), I think his jumper will be on tonight. Don't really want him to find out if his jumper is on, but I would imagine OKC has a better way to keep us out of the lane by now.
