I was hoping he'd wait a couple years and come over and play for Montreal. He would be a god there.
-
...turns out he was hired as GM, not President. [expletive] me.
-
He isn't making the moves I've been hearing.
-
Yeah we picked out smaller named guys and the options were Smith, Morrow, Petro and another dude. We would have looked amazing if we had Petro or Morrow, haha.
-
Oh and if you have a twitter, go tweet him to come to the Nets and I'll give you credit on ESPN when I'm famous.
-
I really hope not.

I got everyone on Netsdaily to tweet the [expletive] out of him to come be our starting power forward. If he signs next week, I win!

Jack Johnson and Nova Scotia? Are you by any chance getting married to a dude? And yes Jer, I'm readddddddddddddy.

Mikhail Prokhorov loves the Duke boys from the coach, to Z and now to Billy King. I REALLY hope he has no control over the moves our GM makes.

It seems like the Nets don't have a plan but yet they passed over Korver, filled the three four position then still managed to get one of the top three point shooters in the league. I have a feeling it's Bobby Marks rather than Rod Thorn making some of these moves.

Big Z following LeBron?

You should really make a post about how there is absolutely no way the Cavs will get Kobe Bryant, time machines Micheal Jordan and double cloned Tim Duncan because everything you write, the opposite happens. -
How are you confused? We were the bottom ranked team with the second amount of cap space and look where that got us. I'm sure every Net fan is rooting for another six win season.

Pippen and Jordan drafted by the Bulls. Cassell and Hakeem drafted by the Rockets. Manu, Tony and Duncan drafted by the Spurs.

I can see the Nets making the 8th seed and I can see the Knicks making the 8th seed. I can also see both teams during the Finals....hoping the ball falls the right way.

Nets Orlando Summer League 2010 Thread
Universe replied to Teletopez's topic in Brooklyn Nets Team Forum
I actually think it's the complete opposite. In every other summer league he was never calling for the ball and just letting everyone else do there thing but Nets put James and Terrence on the bench and forced Favors to work and it paid off. We need him to be cocky as he's just too shy and timid right now that it could hurt his confidence much like how Josh Boone was crushed. -
They said they didn't want to rush him which is why they were hoping for Haslem or others on a three year, Humphries is still on the roster but he manages two shots every possesion he's on the court. I just looked up and saw Morrow played most of his time at the three so maybe they'll start off with Harris-Lee-Morrow-Outlaw-Lopez. A lot better than last year IMO.

Nets currently have plenty of guards in Morrow, Williams, Ross, Lee while they still are missing a power forward to start. Outlaw has stated he was told he'd be the starting three and James had a decent enough summer league where I could see him earning a lot of minutes at the three as well. It will be an interesting couple weeks as Rod Thorn is out in two days then the new guy can fiddle with the rest of the roster.

Depends how the Heat do. I really hope not because then it's more salary cap trades rather than just watching players grow on their teams.

I think the Outlaw signing was one of the best moves by the Nets. He can play the three and the four which allows for Terrence, Damion and Derrick all to get plenty of playing time as Outlaw can switch back and forth. Add that with the Nets being high on Favors, he can start at small forward or even move to a sixth man role. I'm not saying Outlaw > Amare but for this team, it's true.
