Well it's good to see that the Cardinals haven't totally given up or anything like that.

Wow, Chris Nelson with a clean steal of home for his first Major League stolen base.

Nate Robertson DFA'd and Scott Mathieson placed on the DL. After last night, everyone saw the Robertson move coming. With him being DFA'd, one would have to think that Cody Ransom will be added to the 40-man roster with J-Roll hurt. And to take Mathieson's spot, the Phillies picked up Cesar Carrillo off waivers from San Diego. This is interesting, since Carrillo was a first round pick just 5 years ago.

Hopefully the Cardinals put their collapse on hold, for at least the next 4 days.

I am excited for the Flyers as well. The defense is very deep and very nasty, IMO. I am looking forward to seeing how Nikolai Zherdev fits in, and also how Ville Leino plays for a full season.

Nah, they are taking him out now actually. They just drilled Chase Utley near the head, and it looked awfully intentional. Not sure what the deal is, but I am curious if the new Phillies pitcher will do anything. Looks like Nate Robertson is warming up, so that would be really interesting if he is asked to throw at somebody, since he was a Marlin a month and a half ago.

Ryan Howard is 5 RBI behind Carlos Gonzalez for the league lead, and Ryan missed 3 weeks. If he had stayed healthy, nobody would be talking about a triple crown right now.

Cole vs. Andrew Miller is a matchup that the Phillies really need to exploit. Also, Charlie is sticking with Vic leading off and Jimmy in the middle of the order (he is batting 6th tonight). It has worked the last 2 nights, so no need to fix what isn't broken I guess. Also, Hanley is not in the Marlins lineup. Baseball is an unpredictable game, but this is a game the Phillies have to win.
