  1. I'd argue that soccer is far more boring...but I am actually not an ignorant clown and I realize that different people have different perspectives.
  2. I have never been a soccer fan, but had never hated it....until now. I wonder if all soccer fans are as big of tools are some of the posters in this thread.
  3. Moyer, Madson, and Romero combine on the 1-hit shutout... Also Ryan Howard became the quickest player in MLB history to 200 homeruns.

  5. If you are being serious that is kind of pathetic, and if you are being sarcastic it was an epic fail. http://partlytruthpartlyfiction.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/pot-calling-the-kettle-black-734818.jpg
  6. That makes SO much sense thanks for clearing it up.
  7. In all seriousness LKR definitely go....sounds like a great experience for you to share with your friend.
  8. I've heard soccer is popular with little babies because they like to fall on the ground and cry. You mad?
  9. Retarded much? Did you even read my post?
  10. FYI nobody cares how popular soccer is world wide. That is awesome that so many people care so deeply about it, it really is. Is that supposed to alter American's opinions of the sports we love? Don't think so, so if you want to use that "popularity" argument move to Europe or something.
  11. I would love to see your Google search history lol.
  12. You are supporting the idea of going to see a "gay" sport? So which category do you fall into? Ugly Caribbean dude, small-penised Asian, or American hick?
  13. Awesome...those people can continue to want to die for it, I'll stick to being a diehard baseball fan. Works fine for me.
  14. To each their own...that is why it is so pointless to bash either sport. Both are acquired tastes.
  15. Do you have any idea how many people think soccer is "gay"?
  16. Yeah..something wrong?
  17. If it's your only chance to see a baseball game this year, then yes do it.
  18. ELO is awesome.... Also nobody has mentioned the Beach Boys yet. Classic [expletive].
  19. It's not that we wouldn't give them, we just don't have them to begin with lol. We have a lot of very good prospects but they are all a year or two off.
  20. I honestly laughed my [expletive] off at it....when they showed it during the MLB All Star game it just would not end.
  21. I think we have a lot of guys Toronto really likes, but Amaro has flat out said that some guys are untouchable. They'd have to make anybody and everybody available in order to pull off a trade.
  22. Bruce Springsteen! How has he not been mentioned lol. Well, he is an acquired taste I guess, but if you don't like him go see him live and I bet it changes your outlook on him. Crosby Stills Nash & Young are great too. The harmonies they pull off are unreal. Also, most of his stuff may not fit under "rock" although he is from the same era as some of these guys, but Billy Joel is probably my all time favorite musician. Recently I have really gotten into the Eagles (weird that I was never a fan before since all of my favorite music fits into their style pretty much). I have also been into America recently...very underrated band with some very sweet tunes. David Bowie is great as well, despite the fact that he is very strange. I got to see AC/DC live back in November, and let me tell you they still have it. Dudes are getting up there in age but they can still rock and they put on a hell of a show. Also you should all watch some Who videos on YouTube from when they were in their prime. Keith Moon and John Entwhistle were as good as it gets as far as rhythm sections go, for my money at least. Lots of times you can't really appreciate it just by listening, but watching them perform really gives you a new appreciation. Also, if you ever happened to be in an "altered state of mind" (if you know what I am getting at), listen to Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" from beginning to end. It will be a life changing event lol.

    The Ramones

Not a punk fan but they are awesome. Everything is so simple but it's impossible to recreate. So much energy, and everything is a million miles an hour.
