  1. Pez is a game-time decision. Avery says it's unlikely he will play. We desperately need to see Utah Deron for more than just one or two games at a time. I'm glad MarShon played well yesterday, and hopefully that earned him some more time on the court tomorrow. We need all the offensive help we can get.
  2. http://www.nba.com/nets/sites/nets/files/imagecache/slider_image/com-810x325.jpg And only for the month of November
  3. Be honest, for how long has he been begging you to make this post? He probably flooded your inbox with pleads and caused that PM overload a couple months ago.
  4. I love Joe's late-game efforts, but he really needs to knock down shots before that as well. So many open looks this season that could've changed the momentum of certain games. I'm frustrated, but not yet worried. I understand Avery probably doesn't want to disrupt the success of the bench, but Blatche really, really needs to start even after Lopez's return.
  5. Latest nets.com redirect: "Jay Z Online." The trolling continues.

  6. You have yet to understand how disturbing it is that he committed suicide right in front of a bunch of people who you are asking to play/coach a little over a day later. This is not about him. It's about the members of the team that are shaken either by losing someone alongside whom they had been playing or by having to witness something that disturbing.
  7. Can't ignore the mental errors, but fatigue did play a role, particularly with Deron. http://imageshack.us/a/img152/2196/netsschedule.jpg
  8. Wouldn't really call it a tendency. But yeah, this was the Minnesota game all over again.
  9. These refs have been pitiful. Nets got three straight stops and limited production in response on offense. Some real head-scratchers.
  10. 1-7 FT in the second half. Avery took out all of our rebounders at once. And Deron and CJ on the floor together DOES NOT WORK. Shooting ourselves in the foot here.
  11. http://cdn.newsday.com/polopoly_fs/1.4187179.1352073147!/httpImage/image.JPG_gen/derivatives/display_600/image.JPG This man dropped 23 against them. I guess that makes Shaq right about Robin being the best center in the league.
  12. Would Stern have done this garbage if the Spurs won yesterday? They were leading with less than a minute remaining. How do you fine a team for doing something totally within the rules without giving any warning? That's utter stupidity. It makes me livid seeing this nonsense happen, and I don't even care for the Spurs. Is Pop supposed to plan his rest days based on when his team is on national television? This isn't a Broadway show where entertaining viewers is the only objective. You have to win games. And if you put yourself in a position where you force guys to tire themselves out in the midst of a crucial road trip with huge games coming up, you are doing a disservice to the team if you believe they are too old to handle it. It's November. Teams have to be in good health for many more months. Since Stern cares so much about satisfying all the groups with whom the NBA has relations, shouldn't he be understanding of the fact that it would be awful if the Spurs had guys injured long-term, therefore (allegedly) ruining nationally televised San Antonio games anyway?
  13. So Pop should give precedence to satisfying the league executives' wallets over doing what he can to ensure a healthy and successful run for his own team? I'm sure Spurs fans would rather their stars be in optimal condition in games after the winter. Popovich has used this system at varying degrees for several years now.
  14. Basically, Stern feels Pop is supposed to satisfy the national viewing base at the risk of his own increasingly fragile talent. Pretty sure Stern should keep his mouth shut after seeing how effectively the idiotic 66-game condensed schedule last season injured half the league. You would think that would teach the moron a lesson about overworking guys, young or old.
  15. Seems like every time my opinion changes about which commissioner is the worst, something happens among the other three to compete. I will be thrilled if the Spurs pull off this win.
  16. Pierce's ankles, not yet recovered from Nelson's crossover, were broken by JJ. http://medias.gifboom.com/medias/dd3e060aaa774eae8961bdbc045fc6cc@2x.gif
  17. I don't think Rondo was given two technicals. He was just tossed.
  18. It makes no sense; they gave Wallace one, Humphries two, Garnett one, Rondo one. The fact that Rondo faced a plain ejection and Humphries was charged with two T's is hilarious. The officials' reasoning for one of Hump's Ts was that he had an "extra" foul on Garnett. Pathetic.
  19. So Garnett doesn't get ejected, yet Humphries somehow gets tossed. Ridiculous.

  21. Rondo is a punk. Is there any such thing as a likeable Boston sports team?
