Demo came out a few days and I just finished playing, everything about the game was incredible especially the gameplay which is completely different from the first game. Can't wait till it comes out in 2 weeks.

Said Brooks could be matched for any offer but the Rockets didn't want to pay starter money to 2 point guards, and decided that Lowry was our point guard going forward (for now) and that Dragic is a solid backup (for now) and has great potential. Also said that Thabeet has a lot of potential, felt that despite his play it was too early to give up on him, has a chance to turn it around etc. Sheds some light on this trade. More I go further into the press conference, the more I like the moves Morey made.

He does but at the same time is it fair that the Hornets are unable to make any moves of any kind? NBA needs to sell New Orleans ASAP before any real problems rise.

Considering Brooks' struggles this year and with a new CBA coming up, I'd be surprised if Brooks got anything more than MLE money.

No worries, I know what its like to lose a favorite player of yours. When Ariza got traded I didn't let htown hear the end of it for MONTHS, I think ended up annoying the crap out of him a few times. Anyways I think after you let this trade sink in and see Brooks play in the Suns offense, you'll like what you'll see.

Brooks was a 20 ppg scorer. How much potential does Dragic have exactly?

Dragic + mid first round pick for Brooks is a fair price to pay if you can get him back to 2010 form.

A bit disappointed that the Grizzlies pick is coming later than expected but other than that I have no problems with what Morey did. Thabeet has got a TON of potential, lets see what Jack Sickma and the rest of the staff can do with him. How funny would it be if Adelman c-blocks Terrence Williams with Budinger and DeMarre Carrol?

Per CA Grizzlies Sucks that Ish got moved too but he wasn't seeing any playing time anyways.

Rockets also get Demarre Carrol in trade with Memphis.

Rockets might get Hakeem or Dikembe to mentor him and the Rockets' staff have proven to be excellent player developers.

To be fair Dragic has been struggling all season too. I think both players desperately needed a change of scenery, works well for both teams imo if Brooks can get his stroke back.

Actually it wouldn't be THAT bad if the Suns were to miss the playoffs, 8th seed in the West would be the 18th pick in the draft right now while Magic are 23rd. Houston owns 4 first round draft picks in the next 2 years (ours this year, Grizzlies, Suns and Knicks), should look to package a few of those to either move up in the draft or for a starter.

Ouch. Well I guess I'm rooting for the Suns for now.
