CBS did report that the Lakers might make a small deal before the deadline. Maybe they are one of the teams? Just taking a wild guess here.

He hasn't been all that good this season but that might be mostly mental with the struggles being a bottom feeder. If they can get him on the cheap then he'd be an excellent addition.

^Exactly. Why trade Lee for an average defensive center when you can simply move Battier for a potential goldmine (although potential projects don't work out often) plus a pick for our trouble? Sure this hurts our cap space a little but this team needs to start taking risks for once.

Looks like the Mavs are getting shot down again. Prince would have been AMAZING in Dallas though, his perimeter defense + Chandler in the post would have been a nightmare for teams.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Heat also joined in on the chase for Kapono. He's struggled and hasn't seen much time as a Sixer but he's a proven 3 point marksmen, might be worth the look for some contenders.

I've been in support of a Flynn for Brooks kind of deal for quite some time. Interesting that the Rockets are looking to add another pick considering they also may receive one from Memphis. Houston is certainly rebuilding.

What makes you think the Jazz would have accepted less than the Nuggets?

Raja Bell doesn't make much sense, completely redundant to Wesley Johnson although the Wolves could use a veteran presence. I think it would be best if Minny kept Flynn, his trade value is very low and he's proven in his rookie year that he can be a decent point guard. His struggles this season have all been mental and the ankle injury didn't help either.

I wouldn't mind trading for him either but if the Rockets want to be players in free agency this year, taking on Thabeet's contract for one of our larger expirings is going to hurt our chances.
