  1. The 30+ point blowout against Milwaukee back in 2008-09. The Big Three of Yao, McGrady and Artest looked like a huge bust and Tracy was obviously done after missing that wide open 'dunk'. Most painful had to be the game 7 loss to the Jazz in the first round in 2007. Tracy and Yao were both healthy and this team seemed ready to take that next big step, or so we thought. We were up 2-0 early in the series, held home-court, McGrady was tearing the Jazz up and yet we lost. Last playoff game Yao and Tracy played together too.
  2. Watch it, these kinds of posts don't fly around here in OTR. If you disagreed with him so much then you should have replied like you did in your second post. Also I don't think Blasco supports any particular team and may be one of the more unbiased posters here, but I can't speak for him so whatever. This pretty much speaks for itself. Edit: I just realized this isn't the Northwest, not my jurisdiction. Oh well.

  4. I always had this suspicion that he was actually PFG. I guess I was wrong. Anyways I'm glad he's gone, he went from an okay poster to an absolute troll pretty quick.
  5. Amar'e is obviously the better player but Scola has been more effective so far this season.
  6. http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2008/01/28/sports/28morey.1.600.jpg Scola and Martin have been great all year long, defense has been the issue and the Rockets as a whole addressed that during some key stretches in the 4th against a solid offensive team. Definitely encouraging to see. Next up are Chicago and Oklahoma City, two teams that are a step up from the ones we've played recently. Keep the streak alive Houston!
  7. Great win, this team is really starting to click but the question is whether we can keep it up when Yao and Brooks return.
  8. Rockets 3-1 since starting 0-5

John Wall was hacking that game.

Yao has played in how many of the last four games?

He only played in the Wolves game.

  9. So since starting the season 0-5, the Rockets are 3-1 with Yao Ming, Chase Bud, Kyle Lowry and Aaron Brooks missing games. The Knicks are on a 5 game losing streak. Time to trade those picks.
  10. Chuck Hayes has locked down Stoudemire.
  11. LOL from the way the Knicks have played today I'd say its the other way around but we will see.
  12. Ish with the buzzer beater! Didn't know he had it in him.
  13. Martin is 3 for 6 from behind the arc. Beast.
  14. Neither team playing much defense especially this quarter, Rockets have struggled all season long with playing good defense consistently. We've had some spurts but no longer stretches.
  15. Landry Fields is solid, good shooter and hustle player. Knicks got a steal in him.
  16. Whoa pretty left hand layup by Battier. Nice to see him finally playing well.
  17. Even worse than when Walsh bowed down before Morey and gave us Jordan Hill and 2 lottery draft picks for Tracy McGrady? Thanks by the way.
  18. Martin is stroking it and making some passes too, another great performance from him so far. Nice to see Jordan getting some playing time too. I'd like Ish to get some more burn in the second half though.
  19. Oh you have NO idea what I have in store for Rick if he doesn't play Jordan.

  20. Kubiak can be fired but it all depends on whether McNair will fire him and bring in a competent coach. Personally I'm not keeping my hopes up for either. Also I never said Andre Johnson will demand a trade, all I've said is that he's wasted here and I wouldn't blame him if does want out. 4-5 and the Colts are sitting at 6-3 and like you have said we have a difficult schedule ahead, things are definitely not looking good for us. If the Texans aren't winning games now and 2-3 of their 4 wins have come from last minute comebacks, what makes you think they will?
  21. Or maybe D'Antoni is scared Hill is going to smash his frontcourt.

  22. Rehabs are for the noobs. Real men deal with their insanity.

  23. And they also took David Carr, Duane Brown, Travis Johnson, Kareem Jackson and Amobi Okoye (drafted over Revis) with first round draft picks. I'll admit that the Texans make some GREAT picks here and there (incredible job in the 2006 draft) but most of their higher draft picks don't pan out so well. I'm not just saying this because I'm enraged right now either, I've felt this way for a long while. The Houston scouts are drastically overrated for what they did in just one draft.
