We had a Bucks guy on the staff, I think he went by boogeyman.
-
Link Great news for Clippers fans, now if only they could get him to step down from his GM role. I don't know anything about Hughes but I would have liked to see John Lucas take over.

Amar'e Leaning Towards Not Opting Out

With all the talk of a lockout and bad market, it would be best if he just took the guaranteed money. -
Interesting, so now Houston is willing to take on Dalembert? Still doubt we get him though, Suns look like the front runners.
-
AL posts here and also runs another board. No clue what SoM has been up to, I don't think even AL has seen him around.
-
Things just went downhill after winter break. Props to AL and SoM for doing such a great job running it.

Link Huge, Jordan's moves are have been so and so but Postolos has a pretty good track record. Not sure whom Bobcats fans would prefer though. Link Lindsey and Hinkie worked under two of the leagues best gms (Buford and Morey) for several years, it would be an absolute STEAL if the Bobcats could snatch either of them. Lindsey worked here in Houston for 11 years prior to his Spurs stint and Morey praised the guy when he left the front office. Hinkie advises Morey on transactions and finances.

^I just heard that next week's episode is the season finale. It hard to believe that all season long that the most relevant thing that happened was a dead guy being killed off. Nothing happened this season, what the [expletive] Kring?! Season finale better be something good and I hope Heroes does manage to come back for a season 5.
-
No kidding, they wanted Batum and Fernandez for Haywood just a few weeks ago.
-
Link Are you freaking kidding me? That deal better be damn good if the Wizards actually think they can get either Brooks or Landry.
-
Avatar sucked. Hurt Locker was ok, nothing special really.
-
Yep, same reason why everyone last year declared him a bust.
-
That sniper scene was awesome. Dana's side story is awful though.
-
^To me its Claire's storyline that pisses me off even more. Looks like a I didn't miss much the past two weeks, I watched tonight's episode and was again trolled by one of the worst group of writers ever. Some Heroes news. Link I can see NBC bringing Heroes back for a 6th season but only if Kring can come up with something decent.

If Haywood does come to Houston via trade...

If Haywood does come to Houston via trade...
Dash replied to Real Deal's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Not at all, Haywood is no where near the level of a rested Yao Ming. Haywood is looking to get paid next season and assuming he does resign with Houston then he were merely be Yao's backup, which I don't see him being too happy with. -
I understand that but if you have to look at it from our point of view. We don't have to trade away McGrady, we can hang onto him and use whatever cap space we have in the offseason. Butler is injury prone and having a horrible season and Haywood is just looking for his next big paycheck, don't forget that he was out most of the 208-09 season too. To be honest I'm not that interested in exploring a deal with the Wizards, it just doesn't make sense for us unless its a lopsided trade that most Washington fans won't be happy with. If we have to give up too many assets than we do have other options (Iggy, K-Mart, etc). Also keep in mind that there is talk of a hard cap next season, I don't think either Houston or Washington wants to deal with that.

We save the Wizards from a financial disaster.

I hear the draft is pretty deep this year.
-
What a shot by Ariza.
-
Is it so bad that Mike Miller is considered a 'throw in'?
-
But what if we don't? Morey would look like an idiot for trading away a lottery pick in such a deep draft. The trade makes us better than the Hornets for sure but I can't say the same for the other teams battling for position. If it means trading away our pick then I would look at other options. I would rather part with Scola than our pick. You're exactly right. Adelman said it himself, Tracy can play, its just that management doesn't want him around anymore.
-
Its a fair trade but I'm not a huge fan of trading away a potential lottery pick.
-
Link Interesting... A T-Mac/Scola for Butler/Haywood is $8-11 million short though, I wonder who the filler would be.
