  1. ^And it definitely was. The episode wasn't great but wasn't bad either. And Peter, seriously? Some Heroes news. They are going to wait for an official script from Tim before approving a new season of Heroes next year. They are open to cancelling the program due to low ratings lately.
  2. Wilson's proposal was win! Best. Scene. Ever.

I don't know the exact number right now but we have more than 500 posts today. Good stuff, things are looking much better as opposed to a few months ago. Great to see the forum active once again.
  4. I would wait until the trade deadline (assuming Bosh wants out) if I'm going to pull the trigger. Raptors are on a good streak right now, no need to rush a deal. Plenty of time for Toronto to convince him to stay.
  5. Raptors...I said the same thing with the Houston deal, if Bosh has made it clear that he won't return then I would consider trading him. In this case, I would prefer Bynum over Houston's deal of Brooks/Landry (Battier or Cook for salaries?) simply because he is the better prospect and has more potential than the two combined. Also he's locked up long term so he won't be skipping town for a long while. With the Lakers, I'm not so sure either. Pau is already unhappy with the shots he gets, can you imagine how Bosh will react? If the Lakers want Bosh, get him in a sign and trade during the offseason or else you're risking losing Bosh to free agency.
  6. PG: Kirk Hinrich SG: JJ Redick SF: Luc Mbah a Moute PF: Joakim Noah C: Brendan Haywood
  7. To be honest, I think he is done. To go through that rehab once is hell but twice...
  8. Bucks are going to hear it from Redd's agent, they rushed him back before he would have liked. This really blows though, he tore his knee twice in one year. I feel awful for the guy.
  9. I know its been only a year and a half since the draft but post some your early thoughts on how the sophomores have been this season. I have been a tad disappointed in Derrick Rose this season but he did lose the only other offensive threat besides himself and Luol Deng. The only other keeper on this team is just Joakim Noah. He just has to much of a load to carry and its breaking him. He's not a first option and won't he won't ever be. That doesn't mean he won't be a great player though. He has all the tools to be a great defensive player and should focus on developing that end of his game this season...cut back on the turnovers and he should be fine. That said, I think the 2008 class was overrated in a way. The top three picks could turn out to be sidekicks not superstars like they were made out to be draft night. We've been over Rose, Beasley has improved but I don't see him ever becoming a leader, and it is debatable between Gay and Mayo but Rudy...although Mayo has been tearing it up lately (Bulls, Heat and Grizzlies fans may have better insight on this subject). I'm not trying to bag on any of those guys but imo Eric Gordon could very well become the most gifted player in the draft class.
  10. At least compared to the rest of the top 10 picks in the 2008 draft. Derrick Rose: 18.5 points per game, 7.7 shots made out of 16.8 attempts on average (45.8%). Michael Beasley: 15.9 points per game, 6.3 out of 13.8 (45.4%). OJ Mayo: 18.3 points per game, 7 out of 15.2 (46.2%). Russell Westbrook: 16.3 points per game, 5.8 out of 14.6 (39.9%). Kevin Love: 15.4 points per game, 5.3 out of 11.4 (46.7%). Danilo Gallinari: 14.5 points per game, 4.7 out of 10.9 (43.2%). Eric Gordon: 17.3 points per game, 5.7 out of 12 (47.8). Joe Alexander: Er... DJ Augustin: 5.7 points per game, 1.8 out of 4.9 (38%). Brook Lopez: 18.6 points per game, 6.8 out of 13.9 (48.5%). Extremely efficient player, he's going to special some day. He is also owns the sixth best field goal percentage among guards who average 15 ppg or more. The players above him? Brandon Roy, Tony Parker, Louis Williams, Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Steve Nash...in that order.
  11. Heroes season one was supposedly one of the best arcs ever in any TV show. I would recommend watching that since Heroes is now out of its prime. I never watched Entourage but I'll have to check it out. Here are a list of shows that I do watch and enjoy. The Office Friends House Heroes How I met your Mother Arrested Development NCIS That 70s Show Dark Blue Bones Two and a Half Men Leverage Legend of the Seeker Numb3rs South Park I've heard Chuck and Dexter are decent shows too. V (yeah just "V") is brand new show that is also pretty good from what I heard.
  12. Good stuff, just shows there is some sort of market out there for Tracy.
  13. I agree. Bynum, Pau (when he gets back) and Ron should be able to hold down the fort until he returns.
  14. :o Kobe hit a shot. Bucks shooting... Hakim Warrick: 6 - 9 Rest of the Bucks: 6 - 33
  15. Jennings is 0-5. Kobe is 0-8. Something isn't right here.
  16. Jennings is 0-4...I'm surprised Fisher is holding him.
  17. A decent draft and free agency is all Green Bay needs to be honest. You guys got the experience now and should be playoff contenders for years to come. Its not every day that one of the best defenses in the league just folds like that.
  18. This is actually pretty big news. I don't mind Kahn shopping Al for an upgrade but the fact that this was leaked makes me worried that Jefferson's trade value might continue to sink, and rise tensions between Love. That said, I think Kahn might be a bit rash right now. Coming back from surgery isn't easy and Al has been picking it up in the last few games, at least offensively. I would hang on to Big Al until at least the draft where his trade value will be much higher than it is at the moment. By the way, Love has been exceptional. I'd go as far to say that he is the cornerstone of team right now. That Love-Mayo trade doesn't that bad anymore.
  19. That was a terrible ending for the Packers after fighting so hard to get back in it. Props to both teams for a very, very entertaining game.
