His last game against us last year he went 7-21 from the field, shot only 6 free throws, turned the ball over 3 times and had 0 assists. Ron played very physical with Lebron and Shane helped make his life hell that day. I imagine the same thing happens with Ron and Kobe.

Its hard to say whether he will stay or not. To me it comes down to several issues. - Is willing to be patient for a contract offer from Houston? I'm sure he knows that he isn't on the top of our target list. Once the free agency period hits, Morey is going to go straight after bigger names (Bosh, JJ, Lebron?). Is he going to jump right after the first fat contract that is offered to him? Once Morey is done with the FA fiasco THEN Tracy will have the attention of the Rockets front office. - How much of a pay cut is he willing to take? I would pay him nothing more than $7-8 million. - His play this season is a huge factor on whether Houston even wants him at all. Does he mesh with the core? He is a liability on the offensive or defensive end of the court? How productive will he be? He's looking solid so far but its too early to make judgment. - Is he willing to take the backseat? Say hypothetically the Rockets sign a wing like Joe Johnson or Rudy Gay. Tracy will likely be not in the starting lineup because Adelman would prefer starting Ariza next to a scorer. Like it or not, one of the main purposes this season is to develop Trevor Ariza into a 2nd or 3rd option once Yao comes back. - Is Les Alexander still gushing about Tracy McGrady? Most Rocket fans have been aware of our owner's infatuation with T-Mac for years. Recent reports are that he still likes having Tracy with team, which makes me believe that he won't be traded and that Les will reach out for Tracy's return in the offseason. There are just too many factors at play here.

Awful game on Ariza's part.

I'm stoked. Tracy's sixth game back, lets see what he can do against an elite team.

^Yep, that is exactly what he's doing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HC4GHt0HXwg

Wafer failed physical, Rockets sign Harris

Apparently he was injured just like McCants before him. -
Wow, this came out of nowhere. RIP

I would keep Foye, you guys did trade the 5th pick (Rubio) for him. Best to resign as reasonable a contract as you can. Back in Minny, he should some potential to be a go-to scorer. I think he's just struggling with the system and adjusting to Arenas right now. Just keep him, one of your very few assets. If he doesn't show improvement next season, trade him...I'm sure some team is willing to take a chance on him.
-
No team wants Arenas, Wizards are stuck with him for the next five years. They need to make the best of the situation by trading for upgrades to surround the 'big three'.

Nate Robinson's Agent Requests Trade

What exactly was the point of resigning him if they have no intention of playing him? -
What is up with Ersan Ilyasova? I have never seen an NBA player get the boot to European leagues and then come back this strong. Definitely a strong candidate for MIP.
-
I wouldn't rule that out as a possibility but whatever gets him going is fine by me. Agreed on Green...here's a video on Tracy's play tonight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmEl-oZLSDs

Definitely, he isn't forcing anything anymore. He's starting to figure out how and where to get his points in the offense, and much more confidence in his shot. Did you see him shout at Brooks yesterday?
-
Wow! What a game from Ariza. Did you see him out there? He looked hungry each and every single play, posting up Durant/Green and moving around constantly. I love the leadership he's shown the past couple games. Must have picked it up from Kobe, haha.
-
Yep! I'm looking forward to it, I hope the plot starts moving along smoother. Its been way too slow for my taste. I just bought the season one set, I can't wait to pop it in.

Kidd is lucky he wasn't ejected, very dirty play. He's going to play that much for the next couple of games, we're trying to work him into game shape since he was gone for 9 months. He'll start soon enough.
-
Uh no, every team isn't going through this horrible stretch Houston is. Rockets do have the hardest schedule in the entire league. Although after the All-Star break, we go on to have a fairly easy end to the season.

RIP dude was just getting his life straight. [expletive] needs to get locked up.

Better view of the blocking call on Bogut

Regardless, the play shouldn't have been a continuation. -
Definitely, Westphal emphasizes the motion offense a lot like Adelman and Kmart is simply a chucker. Evans deferred to him early on the season but with Martin, Evans has been spectacular. Not to mention the guy is statistically the worst defensive player in the entire league. Dude needs to go, he just doesn't fit anywhere on this team.
-
Only and Only if he comes back cheap, anything more than the MLE is an automatic 'no' unless he proves he can be a superstar again. That said, its great to hear that he still loves playing here. Personally, I hope he does stay beyond 2010.
-
What? Cleveland has to have one of the most BORING offenses in the league. Seriously, what is the joy of watching Lebron dribble around for 20 seconds? He gets a few Sportscenter highlights but that is about it. Great to see Houston high up on the list, pretty amazing considering it was just a few years ago that Houston had a plain offense when Jeff Van Gundy was running the show.
-
One of the reasons I want Tracy to stay here so bad is that he can help out a lot with Ariza's development.
-
About time!

Wow...Ariza, come on.
