  1. If anything this signed increased your playoff chances. What does Memphis have to lose exactly?
  2. Win-win trade. Minny saves 4.8 million in 2010, add a veteran defensive presence to mentor Sessions/Flynn, and get a 2nd rounder to boot.
  3. Thing is, the next best scorers are Marc Gasol and Mike Conley.
  4. Good signing, this team has the potential to make the playoffs but they'll have to work out some chemistry issues.
  5. I drank once at a wedding thinking it was coke Other than that I'm clean.
  6. Looks like a pretty good movie, I'm going to check it out this weekend. Anyone else going to see it?

  8. We talk about the Spurs consistency but what about the Lakers? Not regular season but playoffs, a higher win percentage and being in 60% percent of the decade's finals isn't considered consistent? You can also argue that the Spurs had the luxury of playing easier opponents than the Lakers. The Lakers had to get past the Adelman Kings, Blazers, etc while the Warriors knocked out the Mavericks for SA in 2007. Take out 1999 and the Spurs have 19 playoff series wins as opposed to the Lakers 23. Hold it, the Lakers were irrelevant for 3 years and still have won 4 more playoff series than the Spurs? :o
  9. Playoffs of course, Lakers even got the better end of the Spurs in most of their meetings. Agreed on the final appearances (look at post below). I posted the stats including 1999 because that was apparantely where the debate was going. I don't know why considering the topic title is 'Better team this decade"... If the Spurs win the title this upcoming season than they have a pretty good argument. Your welcome, that did take a while to put together.
  10. The Lakers presented sheer dominance during separate parts of the decade while the Spurs were far more consistent. I think I'll give the edge to the Lakers, 6 Finals appearances is enough said.
  11. Its a 12 - 14 hour game, worth a rent only.
  12. Longhorns and the Houston Cougars.

  14. JFK is pretty overrated imo. People make him out to be a big deal just because he young and was assassinated...he still was a decent president but not top 5.
  15. I don't buy that, the north had been wanting to free the slaves for quite some time. In fact, years before Lincoln even ran for the presidency, he expressed a desire against slavery. I agree he is overrated sometimes but his leadership during the civil war is reason enough.
  16. 1. Franklin D. Roosevelt - The ideal President imo 2. George Washington - needs no introduction...led the revolution, set the standard of US Presidents, and kept us neutral in warlike foreign affairs. 3/4. Abraham Lincoln / Thomas Jefferson - Surprise, surprise Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson are at #3 and #4 in my list. If you stayed awake in history, my reasons are obvious. Lincoln led the North during the Civil War, abolished slavery, etc...Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration, reduced the debt and sparked 'Manifest Destiny'. 5. Theodore Roosevelt - The 'Trust Buster', fought corrupt business tycoons.
  17. Link Good grief...some people just can't take a hint.
  18. Dude is a punk but supposedly he's 'matured'.
  19. Damn it, I didn't know the trial version lets you play only one scrimmage.
