Chad Ford mock draft 7.0 Vucevic is still the top player on my draft board and while its possible to trade down a few spots (although the Sixers worry me) and nab him, securing him at 14th would probably be best. Again with the 23rd pick, you can't complain about Motiejunas.

Magic always needed someone to feed the ball to Dwight, Miller can do just that and the Blazers would get a scorer to help out Aldridge/Wallace. Thoughts?

What the [expletive]? We just drafted Patrick Patterson last year Despite the report (no way Thompson and Biyombo are actually higher on our board) above I do think that Valanciunas is our true target. I don't like that trade one bit though, if we want Valanciunas we need to leapfrog Milwaukee and get the 9th pick.

Alex Kennedy - 06/22/2011 10:43pm EST- Read more NBA news and insight: http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=20170#ixzz1Q4VSV23Z The Spurs have already attempted to dump Jefferson to the Kings but I'm guessing that didn't turn out so well either. Without including Jefferson (since its very unlikely he'll be included if talks pick up), how would you grade this deal for both sides?

Bismack Biyombo and Tobias Harris wouldn't be a bad haul for us although this "medical red flag" of Biyombo's is starting to scare me. I don't see any reason for Utah to take Fredette when they already picked Brandon Knight. Charlotte would be an interesting situation for Alec Burks.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-wojnarowski_minnesota_firing_kurt_rambis_062211 I don't get why they waited so damn long to do it. Best coach left is probably Lawrence Frank.

Tristain Thompson to Cavs at 4?
Dash replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Thompson is going to make a solid NBA role player but the 4th pick? Too high for him. I don't see why Cleveland would care whether Valanciunas is able to play next season (if there even is a season) when they obviously aren't going anywhere any time soon. -
I don't understand it either but as a Rockets fan I'm hoping negotiations go south.

It depends who else is coming back to Houston. There is no way that we're trading Lee along with our picks to move up to the 10th pick when we could also do the Bobcats/Pistons deal. Ilyasova is the only name we've heard from the Bucks' side but he's requested a buyout and that alone would keep him from holding much value in a trade.

With Kobe getting older and Ron Artest's play sliding, it makes sense to go after a Iguodala but if they're looking for a defensive stopper then I think they need to go after someone a bit cheaper than Iggy.

@ trutrojan - not a bad schedule at all. Mine was 8:00-1:00 pm for Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Bad idea because I had to wake up at like 6:30 (like in high school) and I was usually tired as [expletive] since I study late. Think I'll have the same schedule this year except push the first class back till like 9 or 10. Have you guys figured out your majors yet?

Would the Sixers pull the trigger on a deal though? A team of Jrue Holiday, Evan Turner and Derrick Williams going forward would be enticing.

Read more: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/sam_amick/06/22/iguodala.sixers/index.html#ixzz1Q3G6H3dq So Lamar Odom + Ron Artest for Iguodala? I don't see how this makes any sense for the Sixers. Regardless of the players involved, their motivation to make such a deal would be for immediate cap relief and I seriously doubt they would let their top player go just for that and then take on Ron Artest.

...You're kidding me. We actually get a great shot off, hits the side of the bar, looks like its heading in...and then the ball bounces back out.

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/30616/draft-buzz-rockets-eying-no-2-pick Thoughts? I don't see Fredette making much sense for Golden State.

Rockets continue to push HARD for the #2 pick. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/30616/draft-buzz-rockets-eying-no-2-pick

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/30611/latest-buzz-picks-nos-8-11-the-trade-zone Kawhi Leonard would make a great pick if he fell all the way to the Bobcats but I seriously doubt that he would last that long. The Spurs have been offering Tony Parker and the Rockets offered the 14th + 23rd selections. If the Bobcats had to trade the pick, which would be the better deal for them? Or should they stay pat and take the BPA at 9th?

Spurs offering George Hill for a lottery pick
Dash replied to Dash's topic in San Antonio Spurs Team Forum
So the Spurs mean to move up to the 7th pick for Valanciunas and then are looking to acquire another lottery pick (by trading Hill) for Thompson? -
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/30611/latest-buzz-picks-nos-8-11-the-trade-zone Its unlikely that both of those players are going to be off the board though. Leonard will probably be gone but certainly not Thompson.
-
Gery Woelfel saying the Bucks also like Courtney Lee. Rockets might package the 10th pick to move up even further in draft. Here's the podcast if anyone is interested: http://houston.cbslocal.com/2011/06/22/rockets-want-to-make-multiple-trades/

Yeah its definitely a smokescreen. Wolves probably trying to scare the Wizards or Cavs.
