Its been pretty clear that we are likely heading into a rebuilding stage but you're right, we are still not committed 100% to it just yet. Scola needs to be moved before we can even think about rebuilding and Yao's health and rehab is going to have a lot to do with which direction the Rockets will ultimately go. McHale will make a good coach, he wasn't my first choice at the beginning either but at the end I was rooting for him. He's got great charisma, an intelligent guy and he makes players believe in themselves. He might not be that great with x's and o's but surround him with offensive and defensive specialists, which I think the Rockets are trying to do right now, and we're set. Who cares who makes the defensive sets and is calling the shots on offense? If the team is producing then I don't see anything to be upset about. Love this new method the Rockets are trying out, they got their motivator in McHale at the helm, inserting an intelligent offensive coach in the staff who successfully ran Adelman's offense with the Vipers (Finch), and now trying to get 1-2 assistant to run the defense. Its brilliant.
