  1. Nothing surprising but Woj has confirmed that Finch will be on the Rockets bench. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-mchalerockets052711
  2. Rockets wanted to sign him to a 2 year deal but I guess they liked him enough to add a third year plus a team option. Good hire though.
  3. Lol I know you're being sarcastic but I actually like the weather here, hot summers but for the rest of the year its fair.
  4. I never noticed that there was a WWE section. Did the WWE/F Champions quiz and went 21/40, pretty bad.
  5. Eh. Its like in the 90's every day in Houston.
  6. Yeah the summer transfer is going to be huge although its only a distraction for a few weeks. Too bad we don't have more soccer fans here.
  7. Its a regular season award, the postseason isn't relevant. So yes I would.
  8. I would like to see how he stacks up against a healthy Kobe Bryant but since we probably never will then nope. None.
  9. All I know is that the Rockets are very high on him and probably view him as the true successor to Rick Adelman (unless Casey/McHale makes them change their mind). The reason he's become so popular on the Rockets board is because one of the first articles we read about Adelman's "firing" mentioned that the Rockets wanted Rick to take on a protege for 1-2 seasons, and named Chris Finch as the guy they wanted him to take under his wing. Also he's Luol Deng's coach for the British Nation Team. That is just about all I have on the guy. Here is an interview posted on Clutchfans, sounds like an intelligent guy judging from it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H_p7lsnmO8&feature=player_embedded
  10. Leonard would be an interesting case in Sacramento, the team has their cornerstones but they lack true role players and Leonard would certainly fit the bill. However, I think Biyombo has much more potential and makes a good fit next to Cousins. Like the pick the Bobcats make at #19. They lose Wallace but add Jordan Hamilton who many scouts say is one of the few players in this draft that has the potential to be a 20 ppg scorer. Not sure about Klay Thompson going in the lottery, think #12 is too high for him. No way Chris Singleton falls to the Rockets lap at #23. Marshon Brooks' stock has risen since the combine and will probably gone somewhere in the late teens - early 20's. Just a few thoughts.
  11. Well you're right in the sense that one of the two isn't going to be coming back next year. West is more likely to be on the move since more teams will be bidding for his services, but in the off chance that West does pick up his player option then I wouldn't expect Landry back.
  12. Depends on the coach but no I don't think just "any coach" could have taken the Heat to the Finals. Spoelstra isn't an elite coach by any means but he's done a very good job with this Heat team, and didn't back down even when the media/fans were all over him and his own superstar clearly didn't want him around (at least earlier in the season he didn't). Anyways I won't go further in depth for obvious reasons.
  13. Love them although I haven't done one of their quizzes in a while, mostly because I've done almost all of the NBA ones.
  14. Landry has expired and will probably command an MLE type deal in free agency.
  15. Huge collapse by the Bulls, almost reminiscent of the Thunder's in game 4. Great win for the Heat though, they could have packed it in and hoped to close it out at home but gave it their all in the final 3 minutes. Congrats to Flash and our other Heat fans for returning to the Finals.
  16. So Bulls, is Asik still too much for Courtney Lee?
  17. http://ken-berger.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/11838893/29590329 Gherardini was the general manager of Bargnani's Italian club and joined the Raptors front office days before the 2006 NBA draft. Is this a sign that Bargnani is on the outs?
