  1. Wait there isn't one in Houston? Weird. I never tried out any of these burger joints though, I always thought they were basically the same as the burgers in Burger King and whatnot.
  2. They probably match up the best, Battier always did a terrific job on Lebron during his stint with the Rockets. Now he has Tony Allen and the rest of the Grizzlies starters, who are all decent defenders, to work with. However, I just don't think that they have enough firepower to beat them in a 7 game series. Miami would take it in 5 or 6 max. The team with the best chance to beat the Heat in a series is currently down 1-3 to them.
  3. Oh yeah it was N4S who was 30.
  4. Well best of luck in life Smitty. Pop in every couple of weeks and let us know whats up. Diesel had his moments (mainly in the off topic forum) but there is no way in hell I would want him posting here again. He might have been the biggest troll to ever post on OTR along with PFG. I think he was 30 years old too or that might have been someone else.
  5. There is no way Derrick Favors should be ahead of Ed Davis, Patterson could have had a shot if Rick was playing him earlier in the season.
  6. http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/news/story?id=6508860 Doesn't sound very sincere if you ask me.
  7. I'd be okay with 5 games if 1) this was his first offense and 2) he was actually sorry about attacking Barea. Just 2 months ago he did this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ed3umTuRTqo Clearly this brat hasn't learned his lesson.
  8. 5 games is generous. He should have gotten at least 10 imo.
  9. 8 am classes are horrible. I thought I had the perfect schedule when I got 4 classes from 8-1:30 on only Tuesdays and Thursdays but it turned out to be a major pain when I had tests or major projects due. I think I'm going to have the same schedule next year except start at around 10.
  10. Lol that is pretty much what happens to me in my family too although they say its mostly because I don't listen. I found out about both of my sister's engagements weeks after they happened (suspicious that she's pregnant too) and I just found out this weekend in a Subway that one of my favorite cousins in America got married MONTHS ago.
  11. Seemed like to me he was still in the mourning stage and lashing out. Oh well. Who cares if other people are doing it? Our community is supposed to built on maturity. Anyways topic has been derailed enough. Great win Miami.
  12. http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/121280914.html Not surprised, I knew this would be a definite possibility going into the lottery but I have to say that I'm disappointed that Kahn might end up passing on Irving. Especially when you consider that there is a possibility that Rubio might not be playing for Minnesota yet again next season because of the potential lockout. There isn't another player in the draft that has talent to be an All-Star besides Irving (Biyombo maybe but he's a risk), and honeslty I don't see many teams putting together a package that has equal value of a #1 overall pick (assuming the Wolves win the lottery next week). I love Rubio but its ridiculous that the Wolves front office is putting so much faith in him.
  13. I don't think Real is completley sane right now but honestly the picture wasn't neccessary and Lebron and Bosh have yet to win anything.
  14. Happy birthday AL. Have a good one!

  16. http://blog.chron.com/nba/2011/05/as-playoffs-continue-to-astound-without-them-rockets-close-in-on-their-coaching-choice/ McHale wasn't a bad coach at all in Minnesota but he is a horrible talent evaluator although he was spot on with Kevin Love. Frank fits the mold of what the Rockets are searching for, which is a young and intelligent coach. Casey might be the favorite though especially when you consider how the Mavericks have improved defensively since his arrival.
  17. Great episode. -It was about time that Skidmarks got sent packing -Christina or Eric need to go next altholugh from the preview it looks like it will be Ivelisse. -Luke isn't even close to bottom 3 but he's been coasting for the past couple of weeks and needed a scare. -Martin once again was impressive, he's probably the best worker in the show. I'm not sure if his gimmick will work out in the WWE but his ceilling appears to be as a low or mid card babyface. I hope we get a promo from him to get a better idea. -Luke would make an okay heel. His arrognant prety boy gimmick reminds me of Cody Rhodes. -Jeremiah is solid but like the rest of the contestents I'm not sold on his gimmick.
  18. Here's an idea: instead of trading away All-Star level talent becaue of a bad playoff run, how about signing an actual starting quality point guard?
  19. Woj just revealed in a podcast that the serious candidates for the Rockets' head coaching job are Lawrence Frank, Mike Brown, and Kelvin Sampson. He went on to say that the Rockets' owner, Leslie Alexander, went with Morey to Miami to meet with Frank. Sampson is held in high regard around the NBA despite his situation in the college game, and Mike Brown has yet to be interviewed but he says that he is the best coach available and that from the very beginning of the coaching search, the Rockets have liked Brown. http://houston.cbslocal.com/2011/05/06/frank-sampson-and-brown-the-serious-candidates-for-rockets/ Thoughts?
