The title race is alive again as Manchester United draws with Everton 4-4 and Manchester City beat Wolves 2-0. It looks like the Manchester derby will indeed be the deciding factor in who wins the league. Also, Robin van Persie wins PFA Player of the Year award. The Premier League team of the year is: Joe Hart (Man City) Kyle Walker (Tottenham), Vincent Kompany (Man City), Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle), Leighton Baines (Everton) David Silva (Man City), Yaya Toure (Man City), Gareth Bale (Tottenham), Scott Parker (Tottenham) Robin van Persie (Arsenal), Wayne Rooney (Man Utd).

After a 2-1 win over Barcelona, I think it's safe to say Real Madrid has clinched the title. I missed the game due to a wedding, but managed to watch the highlights and Victor Valdez was awful. Both of the goals Real Madrid scored can be blamed on him.

Wow, I always enjoy seeing the goalie get beat like that. Two good matches lined up on Saturday: http://i.imgur.com/TKdpZ.png

Yeah, that goal was one of the best I have seen in the Europa League. He is working wonders for Atletico Madrid this year.
-
Hehe, about that. Hard to believe that Chelsea managed to win despite taking just four shots. :o
-
Do you, or anyone who follows College Basketball closely think Kentucky has a legit chance to repeat despite losing their starting five?
-
I of course missed the game, but was a bit surprised at the result. Not sure if this is just the inner bias in me being a fan of Real Madrid or the fact that I a relatively new to the soccer world. I have a feeling it's a bit of both. Anyways, once I received the text alert about Ozil tieing it up at one I figured it would be a draw and that the away goal Real Madrid got could potentially be the deciding factor in the second leg. So much for that. Guess I'll finally get to see what Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho are made of in the second leg. - As for tomorrow's game between Barcelona and Chelsea, I'll be rooting for "The Blues."

New 2012/13 UMSNT and USWNT jerseys were revealed today. They were the same ones that were leaked back in November 2011. http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/vv347/PapiChuloCobb/yhst-96316601417599_2207_2663195.jpg I don't particularly like it, but it is far from horrific as many people have been describing it. Still on the fence as to whether or not I'm going to get one though.

We lost to the Raptors?!?! I thought they were supposed to be tanking. :o

Chad Durbin sucks, but is consistent. He has allowed a home run in each of his three appearances this season.

Liverpool advances after beating Everton 2-1 yesterday. Chelsea and Tottenham kick off in about 45 minutes.

What a performance by Manchester City on the road! 6-1 win today against Norwich reminds me of the 6-1 win at Old Trafford earlier in the season. ^_^ Carlos Tevez looks to be back in form scoring a hat trick and Sergio Aguero was phenomenal as well. All the pressure is on Man Utd now to win their game tomorrow against Aston Villa.
