A.J. Walton, meet Anthony Davis. -
Chile to host 2015 Copa America after deal with Brazil. FourFourTwo.com Makes sense to me, especially with how slow the preparations for the 2014 World Cup have been. Always thought that hosting the 2014 World Cup, 2015 Copa America, and 2016 Olympics was too much to commit to.

Ok, so why is he coming back in? He is clearly wincing still. Seems like an unnecessary risk. -

Glad to see that I'm not missing much by attempting to work on an essay instead of watching the game. -
At the start of this season. :o

Haven't heard of him until today, so I can't saying anything in regards to his skill. Cool picture from the game today between Bolton and Blackburn in honor of Fabrice Muamba. http://i.imgur.com/MgaJW.jpg

ESPN.com Not looking good, considering we just lost 2-0 to Canada. Now we must beat El Salvador on Monday in order to advance to the semifinals.

Wow, totally forgot they played against Canada tonight. Just went to see what time the game was at and it's already over. :o How did they lose to Canada. I don't know anything about the other U-23 teams in the US's group, but I figured the qualifying matches would be a piece of cake. I watched the whole first half of the game they played on Thursday night against Cuba. Ended up just turning it off since they were up 4-0 and Cuba was a man down.

Reports are saying he should be ready in time for the home opener. Who knows though, considering he is thirty-nine.

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal) also had an amazing free kick today in the closing minutes of game against Aston Villa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87NnVUOAtts Essentially a perfect strike by Arteta. Shay Given, Aston Villa keeper, had no chance.

Anyone watching? -
Totally forgot about this. Both Liverpool and Chelsea have advanced to the Semifinals and Sunderland vs Everton is being replayed on March 27th followed by a rematch of Tottenham Hotspur vs Bolton Wanderers. The Tottenham/Bolton game was disbanded after Fabrice Muamba's cardiac arrest on the field during the game. Semifinals look like this: April 14th - Liverpool vs Everton or Sunderland April 15th - Tottenham Hotspur or Bolton Wanderers vs Chelsea

Real Madrid finally got back to their winning ways today with a easy 5-1 win over Sociedad. Cristiano Ronaldo also became the fastest player in history to reach 100 La Liga goals with his brace today. He now has 101 goals in 92 games.

FT: Stoke 1-1 Manchester City Not the result we needed, but Stoke was fighting for the win all game long and easily deserved the point. Here's a .gif of Peter Crouch's goal. Looks to be the goal of the year so far IMO. http://i698.photobucket.com/albums/vv347/PapiChuloCobb/di-16KH.gif In other Manchester City news, Sergio Aguero says he will not be going anywhere after reports came out linking him with a move to Real Madrid in the summer. Good effort by Ohio, just ran out of gas in OT. Still many question marks for this UNC team if Marshall doesn't play next game. -
Easily my favorite baseball player growing up. Going to be weird not having him on the team. On another note, it is only fitting that our last home series of this season is against the Mets.
-
Do you plan on trying to get tickets to some of the 2014 World Cup games Shaliq? Assuming you will be in Brazil then.

Game between Villarreal and Real Madrid was crazy. Two players (Sergio Ramos and Mesut Ozil) and two members of staff were dismissed from the match. Not exactly the result Real Madrid needs with Barcelona winning their match earlier in the week. Still up six points on Barcelona with ten games to play.
-
A beautiful touch and pass from Carlos Tevez to Samir Nasri ended up being the game winning goal for Manchester City. Not a good overall match, but they pulled it out, which is all that matters. Still a point down from Manchester United though. Also, QPR came from two goals down to defeat Liverpool 3-2. :o

Seems like he said "That's a [expletive]-ass move" to me.

Forgot to add another midfielder to fill my roster. No points for me this week.
