So for those of you who thought he was gonna get traded, you're out of luck =P

Basically, this is asking which place is the most overrated place to go for a vacation. My friend said he went to Hawaii and it wasn't nearly as good as what he thought it was gonna be, but I still disagree with that. I'm gonna say Disney World because unless you're under the age of 10 or are a parent of someone who is, it's pointless.

This week there's not going to be any voting, because almost everybody will agree for one reason or the other, that the game of the week is: MINNESOTA @ GREEN BAY, where Favre makes a RETURN to Lambeau Field, his home turf for 16 seasons. DISCUSSION STARTS NOW. I'm a huge Vikings fan, and I want them to win, but I won't feel bad for them if the Packers get revenge on Favre and beat him, especially after what happened in the last match on MNF. Great game, no doubt, but it's gonna come down to the wire, unlike last time. I predict the score will be: Green Bay 23, Minnesota 21 It's gonna be a close game, but I think that the Packers can actually pull out an upset. This will be another test for Minnesota, just like last week, where they should have won, but miscues ended up screwing them over.

Ok let's look at his first 23 games, starting from when he took over for Bledsoe in the Giants game on MNF: 287 comp, 426 att, 67.4%, 3,654 yards, 8.57 ypa, 35 TDs, 14 INTs, 102.1 rating, 19-4 record as starter Now let's look at his last 21 games, starting from the Philly game after they were 12-1 in 2007: 420 comp, 709 att, 59.2%, 5346 yards, 7.54 ypa, 33 TDs, 23 INTs, 84.9 rating, 12-9 record as starter Hmmmm... his numbers aren't bad, but they're nowhere near the top of the league at this point, especially at this point in the season. I wouldn't say he's a bad QB, but from what some people are calling him, yes, he definitely is overrated. As of now, he's on the borderline of top 10 qbs.

Bears sign QB Cutler to contract extension through 2013
Mentch replied to Cobb's topic in NFC Conference Discussion
Cutler's not a bad QB. If anything, he's played much better since his opening performance against Green Bay, throwing 9 TDs and only 3 INTs. Oh yeah, and he has the potential to be great. If anything, this is better than the Tony Romo deal. Looks like Jerry Jones wasted another $60 million. -
Alright, this is obviously gonna be a huge test to see whether the Vikings can play with another good team, especially after they let the Ravens back in the game late last week. Ben Roethlisberger leads the NFL in passing yards, and he can easily engineer drives with Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes. Then again, the Vikings have Jared Allen, a possible MVP candidate, and who will probably end up being DPOY. It's a close game IMO, but I think the Steelers will end up winning.

Ya I don't really like green that much in Mavs jerseys

Obviously "The Dynasty", since that was part of the first motto when we first rebuilt the site.

LOL i was watching SportsCenter this morning in Drafting class and I heard Adam Schefter talking about this. I couldn't agree more =D

To be honest, I saw this coming eventually, if not this season, then next season.

Michael Crabtree will be a bust, quote me on that, seeing as he missed lots of training camp and actual preseason games, he doesn't have enough experience to make an impact.

Blackberry Storm is bad IMO because the screen can easily break since it's easily pressed down much more than other phones. It's SUPPOSED to make it more realistic, but all it does is just make it less durable.

Alright you know the drill, if you want rep, just come in here and post anything, and you get it!

IMO the current baseball picture doesn't give other teams enough of a chance to make the playoffs, unlike in football, where you can finish just over or at .500 and still get in as a wild card. Here's how the playoff picture would look if the current playoff format allowed for 6 teams: AL West 2. LA Angels 97-65 5. Texas 87-75 Seattle 85-77 Oakland 75-87 AL Central 3. Detroit 86-76 6. Minnesota 86-76 Chicago 79-83 Cleveland 65-97 Kansas City 65-97 AL East 1. NY Yankees 103-59 4. Boston 95-67 Tampa Bay 84-78 Toronto 75-87 Baltimore 64-98 NL West 1. LA Dodgers 95-67 4. Colorado 92-70 5. San Francisco 88-74 San Diego 75-87 Arizona 70-92 NL Central 3. St. Louis 91-71 Chicago 83-78 Milwaukee 80-82 Cincinnati 78-84 Houston 74-88 Pittsburgh 62-99 NL East 2. Philadelphia 93-69 6. Florida 87-75 Atlanta 86-76 NY Mets 70-92 Washington 59-103 Playoffs would be set up in the same way that it's set up right now in the NFL, almost the exact same way to circa 2002. The 1st wild card team hosts the 2nd wild card team in a 5-game series, and the 3rd wild card plays the No. 3 seed, or the lowest seeded division winner. Here's how the playoff matchups would look: American League 6. Minnesota @ 3. Detroit 5. Texas @ 4. Boston National League 6. Florida @ 3. St. Louis 5. San Francisco @ 4. Colorado The No. 1 and 2 seeds would get a first round bye, just like in football, and they would host the winners of the first round series, with no. 2 hosting the highest seeded winner. Is this a good idea, or no? IMO it gives more teams the abilitly to compete in October instead of sitting at home watching the playoffs on TV. I just noticed that a bunch of 80+ win teams and even 85+ win teams are out of the playoffs.
-
So yeah, even though Texas played in the tougher American League, and they were tied for the best record out of all of these teams, I'm gonna say San Francisco is the best non-playoff team, because they played in a division that had 2 playoff teams and still managed to finish above .500 and almost qualify for a playoff spot.

Alright the game of week 4 is NY Jets @ New Orleans, the battle of the unbeatens. Discuss. I think that the Saints are gonna win because they have an almost unstoppable offense. Plus, Mark Sanchez is going on the road again and he's gonna have to air it out instead of merely game managing like he did against the Texans and Patriots.
