  1. Alright, since it's a tie, the GAMES of the week are Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh AND New England @ Indianapolis. DISCUSS.
  2. Yep, 3 division titles and a Super Bowl appearance. Since they lost the Super Bowl, and since Gannon suffered a career-ending injury, things have only gone downhill.
  3. Alright, voting for week 10 starts now. I put Bengals and Steelers for the AFC North division lead. If the Bengals win, they might have the division locked up. Obviously there's still a lot of football left to play, but they have the tiebreaker with a win and basically a 2-game lead.
  4. That's good advice. But if the Raiders somehow miraculously turn around this season, will he still be fired?
  5. 3 weeks ago, the Broncos had a 3 game lead, similar to that of last year, when they went 8-5 but lost their last 3 games to miss the playoffs and cause everything that happened over the offseason. Now, they only have a 1-game lead over the Chargers, who are on fire after Philip Rivers led another comeback win over the Giants on Sunday. Both teams play extremely winnable games against NFC East teams, so leading up to the matchup next week, Denver should be 7-2 and the Chargers should be 6-3. That game will possibly show that the Broncos are on the verge of another collapse, and that the Chargers are once again the powerhouse in the AFC West. 2008 Broncos = 2009 Broncos? Discuss.
  6. So for those of you who thought he was gonna get traded, you're out of luck =P
  7. Basically, this is asking which place is the most overrated place to go for a vacation. My friend said he went to Hawaii and it wasn't nearly as good as what he thought it was gonna be, but I still disagree with that. I'm gonna say Disney World because unless you're under the age of 10 or are a parent of someone who is, it's pointless.
  8. This week there's not going to be any voting, because almost everybody will agree for one reason or the other, that the game of the week is: MINNESOTA @ GREEN BAY, where Favre makes a RETURN to Lambeau Field, his home turf for 16 seasons. DISCUSSION STARTS NOW. I'm a huge Vikings fan, and I want them to win, but I won't feel bad for them if the Packers get revenge on Favre and beat him, especially after what happened in the last match on MNF. Great game, no doubt, but it's gonna come down to the wire, unlike last time. I predict the score will be: Green Bay 23, Minnesota 21 It's gonna be a close game, but I think that the Packers can actually pull out an upset. This will be another test for Minnesota, just like last week, where they should have won, but miscues ended up screwing them over.
  9. Ok let's look at his first 23 games, starting from when he took over for Bledsoe in the Giants game on MNF: 287 comp, 426 att, 67.4%, 3,654 yards, 8.57 ypa, 35 TDs, 14 INTs, 102.1 rating, 19-4 record as starter Now let's look at his last 21 games, starting from the Philly game after they were 12-1 in 2007: 420 comp, 709 att, 59.2%, 5346 yards, 7.54 ypa, 33 TDs, 23 INTs, 84.9 rating, 12-9 record as starter Hmmmm... his numbers aren't bad, but they're nowhere near the top of the league at this point, especially at this point in the season. I wouldn't say he's a bad QB, but from what some people are calling him, yes, he definitely is overrated. As of now, he's on the borderline of top 10 qbs.
  10. Cutler's not a bad QB. If anything, he's played much better since his opening performance against Green Bay, throwing 9 TDs and only 3 INTs. Oh yeah, and he has the potential to be great. If anything, this is better than the Tony Romo deal. Looks like Jerry Jones wasted another $60 million.
  11. One can only hope that the Broncos don't have the season exactly opposite of what everybody predicted. What I'm saying is, they could be another '03 Vikings. They probably aren't, but the season is still young, so yeah.
  12. Alright, this is obviously gonna be a huge test to see whether the Vikings can play with another good team, especially after they let the Ravens back in the game late last week. Ben Roethlisberger leads the NFL in passing yards, and he can easily engineer drives with Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes. Then again, the Vikings have Jared Allen, a possible MVP candidate, and who will probably end up being DPOY. It's a close game IMO, but I think the Steelers will end up winning.
  13. Ok yeah sorry I haven't updated this in a while. But I have voting for week 7 now. Vote and then discuss.
  14. Ya I don't really like green that much in Mavs jerseys
  15. Obviously "The Dynasty", since that was part of the first motto when we first rebuilt the site.
  16. LOL i was watching SportsCenter this morning in Drafting class and I heard Adam Schefter talking about this. I couldn't agree more =D
  17. WEEK 5 VOTING STARTS NOW yeah, i know the games aren't that great this week, but oh well.
  18. To be honest, I saw this coming eventually, if not this season, then next season.
  19. Michael Crabtree will be a bust, quote me on that, seeing as he missed lots of training camp and actual preseason games, he doesn't have enough experience to make an impact.
  20. Haha i actually had a Diet Coke for the first time in a while yesterday and i struggled to finish it. I had to get a regular Coke just to wash out the flavor lol
