Bogut's Injury

Bogut leaves game w/ dislocated elbow

Bucks center Andrew Bogut was injured when he fell following an alley-oop dunk on Saturday. He was diagnosed with a slightly dislocated elbow, but X-rays revealed no broken bones.

Bogut landed hard on his back with his right arm underneath his body, and it's amazing that he (apparently) avoided anything too serious. Milwaukee is riding high heading into the playoffs, but wouldn't stand a chance without Bogut. We'll post a timetable for his return once we know more.

You gotta feel for Andrew Bogut. He was finally coming into his own, he was having such a good season this year. He's an essential player for this Bucks team if they even want to stay close against any team in the post season. Hopefully it's nothing serious and he wont have to miss a ton of time. I don't expect him to come back for the playoffs after that.

It's just sickening to watch. Get well soon Bogut.

EDIT - And yes, Amare did get a flagrant foul for that as he just ever so slightly touched his back. I don't think Amre touching Bogut on the back made Bogut fall. If you really watch the full video, he had so much momentum and he lost his grip. The fans were actually chanting "Kick him out".

The Milwaukee Bucks will have to move on to the NBA playoffs without center Andrew Bogut, who suffered season-ending injuries in the team's 107-98 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night at the Bradley Center.

A source said early Sunday that Bogut suffered a dislocated right elbow, sprained wrist and broken right hand and would likely undergo surgery.
