You know we paid 3 million dollars for a second round draft pick right?

Yeah, but that's just dumb. Paying a lot less for something that intimidates Knicks employees and brings a ton of attention to the Nets is a brilliant marketing plan.

Our owner is a billionaire, money is not that big of an issue.

No I'm not trying to say that... He said paying for a 2nd round pick is stupid, and that you can pay less to intimidate the Knicks. I just think improving your team is more important, especially for a [expletive] team like ours.

$3M for a 2nd round draft pick? NBDL level player?

Yes, a few hundred grand (if that) to intimidate and send a message to not only Knicks, but the entire NY/NJ area is a much smarter move. Look at how much attention it has recieved locally and nationally...that's huge for a team like the Nets.

"The blueprint for success!"

"...what's that, oh our record last year, uhm yeah just ignore that, tanking is our blueprint for success!"

lmao how dumb

Yeah and saying 'oh LeBron, we haven't been above .500 since 2001, but that'll change instantly.' will work for sure.
