Dash Posted February 25, 2011 Report Share Posted February 25, 2011 The Kings will ask for an extension from the March 1st deadline about relocating the franchise to Anaheim. Neither the Kings or NBA are completely sold on moving the team from Sacramento to Orange County. If the Kings do move, they will not take a loan from the owner of the NHL's Ducks and will not sell the team. The process could take the remainder of the season to resolve. I never understood quoting something without a response. anyway, Anaheim probably isn't the best place for them, but I'm guessing the Maloofs want to stay in Cali. either way, relocation seems absolutely necessary for the Kings at this point.
