The Patriots may be looking to trade up in the draft.

http://www.nesn.com/2011/04/report-patriots-speaking-with-browns-about-trading-up-for-sixth-overall-pick.html

In The Hoodie We Trust!!!!!!!

This could also be a big sign that there will be a rookie pay scale implemented. Robert Kraft is involved more than almost any owners in the labor negotiations, so if the Patriots trade up, that may mean he strongly believes a deal will be reached.

Chosen One who do you got the Texans taking?

Dream scenario would be Houston trading up to 5 or 7 and taking Patrick Peterson there and using our 2nd rounder on Rahim Moore. Plenty of rumors that the Texans want to move up for him but cheap front office thinks price is too steep. Regardless I am hopeful that a deal gets done but I'm not holding my breath. Rahim Moore is the obvious pick in the 2nd round just as long as he's on the board. I would be surprised if Houston would pass up on him.

My prediction is that Robert Quinn slips to 11th and the Texans will come out with him, which is pretty solid imo.

Ugh...honestly, I'm not that interested in this year's draft. Maybe just the first round. Oakland makes me sick to my stomach...sick because I already know they'll be taking the absolute fastest players they can get, no matter who.

I'll watch, but I'm sure I'll be :wallbash3: plenty of times.

You guys have to go DB your guys pass defense was completely pathetic last year. Moving up to get Paterson would be excellent but if that dosent happen you guys gotta find a way to get the Prince.

A swap with the 49ers would be ideal.

lol analyzer

I want Emmitt Smith Jr. to fall to the Giants and have them scoop him up. [expletive] needs.

Yeah analyzer, as in instead of being a fan and just blindly looking at people run and jump and who looks like they'd be awesome, actually looking over the team and seeing what can really improve us. I don't get what was funny about that...

Always excited for the draft, one of my favorite sporting events of the year.

I feel confident going into the draft this year, and feel much more comfortable with the front office making decisions. Bruce, Mike, and the rest of the staff have now been together for a year (as opposed to 4 months in last years' draft). They know everything there is to know about this team, he has done his scouting, and will make the best possible move.

There's so many different ways we can approach this draft. Personally, I would love to trade down, grab another second rounder, and draft Jake Locker in the middle of the first round. One of my biggest issues with the previous regime is their inability to keep their draft picks and develop their young talent. we gotta do whatever it takes to stockpile on picks.

I'm really hoping the Panthers take Cam with the #1 pick, no QB on the Panther roster is worthy of starting games next season. Shitty thing about today is that teams can only trade picks and not players, I'm certain the Panthers could get a high pick for Steve Smith.
