2011-2012 New England Patriots And 49er's Thread

Get ready, I'm no longer going to be superstitious and downplay everything. The Patriots are going to straight rape every team this year. I'm talking about a perfect season, unless they play the 49er's, with putting up multiple big victories against the New York Not Yets.

This is it baby. You can hate all you want, but this is it. Now, it's time for some sexy pictures of the beasts on this team.

It doesn't get any better than this, unless Vernon David and other 49er's could be added to this thread. You have the studs in Tom Brady and Gronkowski, with Gronki just doing his thing. Then you have Mayo, just being a beast. You have Merriweather and the "Big Bang Clock". . And, finally, you have the greatest rap in history.

that defense can't stop a nosebleed

We'll see about that this year. Players on the Patriots defense that juice have been suspended, so it's only a matter of time before the Packers have about six suspensions on defense this season.

Then, they won't be able to stop a paper cut. The Patriots have to play.....real teams. They don't play cream puffs like the NFC North, the same division they shit on last year.

This is the Patriots year, and a new dynasty will be formed.

Brady will win MVP again, Manning will have his place BEHIND Brady for sure, and the Patriots will dominate this season.

I think that the Packers have proved that even missing many key defenders, their unit was still good enough to do well. The Patriots, on the other hand, haven't proven the same. That being said, I do see improvement coming from their defense. I don't think it'll be enough to propel them to undefeated status, but just judging between Belichick's excellent handling of young players and the talent they have (at least based on draft spot), they look to be in a position to improve.

I do, however, feel that the Patriots will end up regretting passing on Ingram for Vereen and more picks.

I feel that the Patriots biggest need is a true deep threat. Their offense was excellent during the regular season, but once the playoffs come, you need to have a game breaker.

49ers are a mess right now. Idk why the hell they aren't going for Asante right now, money isn't the issue.

That's why I haven't been talking about them in this thread. However, Harbaugh has said he's amazed with Vernon Davis and Delainie Walker, so hopefully the offense does well this year.

I have no clue what to expect.

Lol...I always questioned if you were gay before, but now that you have a duel favorite team thread from polar opposite ends of the country (gay) with all these pictures of half-naked men (really gay), and it's confirmed that you are a complete, flaming homosexual. Thanks for the laugh.

What kind of thread would make you happy? An Amy Winehouse and James Brown thread?

A thread where there aren't a dozen pictures of half-naked men that you have man-crushes on. You're like the Human Torch's retarded brother, always stay flaming...

It's time for the domination to begin. This will be the start of a historic season for the New England Patriots, and the NFL as well. They have a much easier schedule than last year, and have only gotten better.

The reports about Nate Solder are just awesome. It's been said that he'd dominating (yes, I know it's training camp), but he also has a mean streak like Mankins.

The Patriots have the potential to have a DOMINANT offensive-line for years to come if they can keep Volmer.

Solder-Mankins-Koppen (maybe draft a center)-Cannon-Volmer

It may be hard to keep Volmer as many teams would love to have him as a starting LT, but hopefully the Patriots can keep him. Cannon is absolutely huge, the second largest player in Patriots history, and the reports about his footwork as great to hear. However, he had cancer recently, so maybe they keep him out this season, but he looks to be very promising.

Brandon Merriweather needs to learn to play in position this season, and keep his cool, and not tackle his own teammates.

I'm excited about the potential of the new defense, but I am also excited about the offense. I really hope the offense can dominate again.

They signed a lot of defensive-linemen, so they will be battling as hard as they can to secure a job.

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

your first string pats defense was prettyy awful today.

Good thing only two starters on defense played you moron.

Anyways, here's what I took away from tonight's game.

-Darius Butler was [expletive]ing awful

-Merriweather sucked

-Riddley was impressive

-Price will be a big factor this year

-Mallet has an arm I haven't seen in a long time

Also, I hate the new kickoff rule. It really takes away from the special teams.
