The Goods
Now that the Blazers have agreed to terms on an extension with Brandon Roy, they have turned their attention on LaMarcus Aldridge. Sources tell ESPN's Chad Ford that the two sides are "progressing" toward a deal. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60996/20090805/aldridge_progressing_toward_extension_with_blazers/ Edited August 8, 2009 by The Goods
Dr. Feelgood
We know it's going to happen but it's always good to hear positive news like this.
Flight
Good news, don't even give him a chance to go somewhere else in FA. Roy and Aldridge will be All Stars this year.
Dr. Feelgood
No doubt in my mind man, they'll be killing it this year, especially with a player like Dre Miller.

Dr. Feelgood
Sucks I can't watch them play anymore. I lived in Beaverton before. You can still watch them when they play on ESPN, TNT, and ABC. Just wont be able to watch them as much as some of us can.

I'm a ways away but I've been there before a few times on my way to Portland/Seattle. I'm feeling 56 wins this year.

The Goods
Extension For Aldridge Expected 'Very Soon' After giving Brandon Roy a contract extension, the Blazers are expected to reward LaMarcus Aldridge with a similar commitment soon. "We have been working on it," Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard told the Portland Tribune. "We're hopeful it gets done. Our intent is to have LaMarcus under a long-term contract very soon." Roy received a new five-year deal and said that extending Aldridge's contract "is extremely important. We have built a relationship on and off the court that has been important to our early success. Now it's time to get LaMarcus signed. He is a huge part of what we're trying to do. He is a future All-Star for years to come." http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/61042/20090808/extension_for_aldridge_expected_very_soon/ Edited August 8, 2009 by The Goods

Flight
Nice. Now all they need to do is buy Greg Oden a Carbon Fiber knee brace.
Dr. Feelgood
Can the season just start already after LMA is extended? I don't think I've ever been more excited about a season than I am about this one.
ExesAndOhs
The Blazers are killin' it this year. Roy's making the All-Star team this year for sure, I'm not too sure about Aldrige, maybe 1 more year? 5-8th seed this year.
