Built Ford Tough Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 From an Insider article: The Celtics offered Paul Pierce to Portland -- I'm not sure what they asked for in return -- but the Blazers were not interested because of the two years and $32 million remaining on Pierce's contract. The Blazers are positioning themselves to have tons of cap room this summer and they don't want to do anything to eliminate their space as they try to rebuild around LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum. The Blazers continue to shop the rest of their roster, particularly Gerald Wallace, Raymond Felton, Marcus Camby and Jamal Crawford. What do you think Boston wanted from Portland? I'm guessing Batum. The only reason he still has his job is because they somehow got lucky enough to trade for the big 3 and land Rondo. Ever since then he's gone full retard.
