Use this thread to ask any questions concerning specific aspects of sports.

 

A question that I've been wondering about... Craig Biggio's batting helmet. Why is it bigger than everybody else's? Does anybody have the inside scoop?

Idk about weight but height wise yeah a bit, keep in mind as a QB you have to be able to see over the offensive linemen and defensive linemen. Now 6 foot ain't too bad but its real tough for a 5'8 5'9 guy to see over these giants. 6 foot is borderline small Brees may have to step back a bit more than a Manning or a Brady so he can see the field more but it's not too bad.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Weight seems like it might be a factor, most QBs are in the 230-250 range.
