Raptors Have No Intention Of Dealing Bosh
Check my Stats replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I think ever since our team started playing much better everyone is beginning to realize him signing here long-term is a legitimate possibility. Thus we would not be so inclined to move him. -

LeBron Fueling Drive For Jamison
Check my Stats replied to The Regime's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Eh, I don't see why they are reluctant to move JJ. He seems okay, but I doubt he is anything more than a fringe starter, even so. I would do anything I would to appease the King right now. I am not sure Jamison is exactly what they need, but he would be the best 2nd option LeBron has ever had offensively, and I doubt there is really much better on the market right now. -
Pau Gasol Unhappy With Kobe’s Shooting Spree
Check my Stats replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
I agree with him, Kobe shot 50% only 3 times last month in 17 total games, and like 41% for the month. I don't know about Gasol's comment;'now we can focus on winning games again' since they are 4-1 in their last 5. I think Gasol is right though, he should be a focal point offensively right now, at least until Kobe gets out of this shooting slump or his hand starts to feel better, whatever it is. And you guys call him soft, well maybe he wouldn't play so soft if he wasn't so frustrated. It is a lot easier to get your big men to play defense and work hard down low when they are getting the touches they want, keep your big man happy and he will probably keep you happy. Admittedly I do not watch the Lakers, but his rebounding is up pretty considerably so far this year and his shot blocking is up 50% as well, I know stats are not the end all be all of a player performance obviously, but is he really playing softer than he was during your championship run? EDIT: Overall I think this has to do more with Kobe just launching shots right now and shooting at a pretty low % compared to usual. If Kobe was shooting his usual 47-50 percent a game I highly doubt Gasol would be saying [expletive]. -
Rondo hints at Issues in locker room?
Check my Stats replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
This comes as a surprise to me, I always figured the Celtics would have one of the best locker rooms in the league. I mean who is gonna step out of line with Pierce, KG and Sheed looking over your shoulder? -
MVP- Kobe vs. LeBron?
Check my Stats replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in General NBA Discussion
It is not a 2 man race, LeBron is the MVP without a doubt. -
Hopefully Wright can continue to hit those spot up 3's in the corner, lot's of jumpers again I expect from bhoth teams <_<. Hopefully we can win, this is a game we should win but I just have a bad feeling in my gut.

Hawks will make it out of the East.
-
The balance has definitely been restored, the East is definitely better up top than the West is, that is evidenced by the fact that there isn't a single team that anyone expects to make it out, unlike the West where let's be honest, no one has pegged any team not named the Lakers as the team to come out of the West. I think the depth of the West is more, but the West has 1 contender, and the East has 3, 4 if you count the Hawks but they haven't accomplished enough to be called contenders IMO. There are 8 really good teams in the East though, none of the teams that are going to make it are undeserving IMO, all of them are rock solid, just like the West. I think the conferences are about as balanced now as you could hope for or expect.

Congrats, nice to see Raptors are the most valuable fan base outside of the Lakers, especially considering it is mostly just BFT, BasX and myself unless I am forgetting someone. Beast. Also I never saw this before so sorry for not voting lol.... I wouldn't have known who to vote for anyways.

None will be all-stars, maybe one will get lucky once but other than that they will all be lucky to be starters. I am not sold on that Danilo kid whatsoever.

No. 1 seed already locked?
Check my Stats replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
Ya Cavaliers will probably have the best record, but I think the Celtics, if healthy, are still the best team in the East, possibly the NBA. The Hawks are not going to go down without a fight either, honestly do not be surprised if this team is in the NBA finals this year. Magic I can see getting bounced really early, for some reason they just aren't playing as good as last year, VC needs to step the [expletive] up. Idk why, but I just will not buy the Cavaliers hype, they continue to dominate because of one single player, I just cannot believe you can win 4 playoff series like that, if LeBron has a bad game (almost never happens but still) this team simply cannot or will not win. Anyways, Cavs will probably come first and LBJ will win another MVP, but the playoffs will be an entirely different monster, as we all know. -
Raptors Move Up to 7 in ESPN Power Rankings
Check my Stats replied to BasX's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I like that we got the hard part of the schedule out of the way early when we were still trying to gel... sure it was hard on the mind because I thought we were trash, but now that we are starting to play together we are beating on the crappier teams and the league is starting to take notice, we are a really solid basketball team. I think this team right now is the team we all envisioned coming into the season, Jose Calderon is the best backup PG in the NBA right now probably (and one of the best 6th men in general) and Chris Bosh is playing like a legitimate MVP candidate. Andrea is stepping up and is a legitimate 2nd option on offense, if his post game continue to develop he is going to be so damn dangerous and hard to guard on offense. Our bench is rock solid, better than I ever expected, our team hasn't had this sort of energy (specifically Amir) in recent years, it is awesome to have a guy play 110% and also stay within himself offensively. I just think now that everyone knows their role, who gets the touches and who gets the shots, and mostly our improved defense and overall intensity, we are just a really solid team. The only question mark at this point in the year is still Hedo, I don't think he has a definitive role yet like everyone else on the team. One game he is there, the next he isn't, or the next 5 he isn't <_< I think we have an amazing future if Bosh stays if you consider the fact we probably have not seen the best from Bargnani and Demar is still far away from the player that he will become, if we win 50 or close to it, with a young developing team, I don't see how Bosh could leave, I just don't. I just think we have one of the best young cores in the league, minus Hedo's old [expletive] of course Also I think 7th is way too high, I don't know about those other teams but a 5 game win streak against mostly crap teams doesn't warrant being called basically elite. We should be somewhere around 10, hopefully by the end of the year though we are around the 7th spot and it is deserved. I still don't think we can be a legitimate team when we have of the worst starting 2s in the NBA, I know Demar will get better but right now Demar is guarding the opponents best scorer most nights, it is just too much to ask. If you consider in the playoffs he will be guarding either Pierce or Allen, Anthony Parker (not as bad), Joe Johnson or Vince Carter, come playoff time it is going to be tough. -
This reminds me way too much of the type of games we played back at the start of the year. Constantly allowing dribble penetration leading to wide open jump shots. We are only winning because our offense has been better.
-
Do the Pacers even try and get inside? Smh.
-
Vintage Antoine Wright there.
-
WOW great pass by Jose, surprising.... Pacers making some pretty questionable shots right now, kind of annoying.
-
DION.
-
How about the fact Charlotte is practically incapable of winning on the road? This team will get 4-2'd in the first round in a perfect world unless they draw the Hawks, but even at that they would be hard pressed to get it past 6 games.
-
This is an amazing deal, let's be honest with ourselves, none of those players are (or should be at least) in the Leaf's long term future, they are all 3rd liners, or borderline second liners at best. All extremely expendable IMO. Phaneuf is a star, Kessel is a borderline star, both of these guys are two legitimate core players. I think Burke is doing a solid job at adding core players when he had no core players to begin with.... it sucks we had to give our first for a guy like Kessel but getting Dion pretty much cancels that out IMO. This is an amazing deal anyway you slice it, we are not making the playoffs, and even if we do at this point it would just be a bonus. I don't get why Calgary trades a franchise defensemen for essentially depth.

Yes career loser, he wasn't even the clear cut best overall player on those mediocre at best Wizards teams. It would piss me off if we came 5th or ahead of Miami in any way, and Bosh left us for the inferior team.

Video: Hedo Turkoglu Does Not Enjoy Post-Game Interviews

Late. -
I am impressed he has come this far along in one season at this age. What is most impressive is not his numbers, but how much he has improved the Grizzlies team by being the main addition in the off-season. Gone from a bottom 3 team to a really solid team just by adding him. Teams can actually look at Randolph as a legitimate piece to a championship puzzle it seems now, at least if THIS Zach Randolph is the Zach Randolph we will see from here on out.
-
I thought it was more awkward than funny.
-
Sorry for not reading the thread, but my only thought is why you would want to add a career loser to a team looking to achieve competitiveness? Not to mention Arenas is a terrible team player, doesn't know how to take a role outside of shoot first, and is very lack luster on D. So I am gonna take the call you crazy option. That team would be good on NBA Live though.
