  1. Agreed. Could you imagine LeBron getting caught using PEDs? That'd be insane. Lol.
  2. yeah, i was thinking the same thing. i was like ughhh he took out Melo. but I think he always has the same substitution patterns to start quarters? Seems like no matter what Melo plalys entire 1st, sits first 4 minutes or so of 2nd qtr. Melo plays entire 3rd, sits first few mins of 4th qtr.
  3. So i DVR this game because I had to work. it was a decent game I guess, but the Knicks defense was pretty poor at times but the Clips made everything, especially CP3. Melo was great (although he sux according to Cowherd since he's not Lebron...see twitter) but he just kind of lost his rhythm in the 4th and didn't really get any good looks. oh well, not really a big deal in general. just win on wednesday and we're headed to the ASB with an awesome first half.
  4. tough to see bradshaw go but it's obviously a good move, same with canty.
  5. And always hurt. With a hamstring injury.
  6. easy win. pistons r awful this stretch before the ASB is big for the Knicks IMO ... all games they should win, and they are doing that. it's great to watch
  7. Yeah, I gotcha. That Zaga team is definitely fun to watch. I don't discredit you for being a UNC fan. It's cool. Chapel Hill is nice. Durham and Duke is worse. :dribble:
  8. yeah offensively he's been great. like the other guys have said it's been within the flow of the offense, nothing forced (hence the ridiculously high FG%)...it's been fun to watch for sure. hopefully he can continue this even after the ASB.
  9. kurt thomas made a 3 pointer lol you know you're living well when that happens
  10. well the oral-b one I have was like 30 bucks i think. great investment. definitely better than a manual toothbrush for sure. the sonicares are supposed to be super nice but i think they are far more expensive. i guess DBF has more info on that tho
  11. He's getting better with each game though. I honestly try to be subjective and not biased in my analysis of the Knicks (even though you say I am lolol) so I guess I'm tough on Amar'e but he's certainly showing signs of improvement the past 2-3 games here.
  12. No, your analysis of Howell is fair. His offensive game is far from spectacular. With his athleticism/build, if he was great offensively, he'd be averaging 20 ppg easily. He also plays about 35-38 mins every single game. I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see him slip into late first round though. That's cool your a Zaga fan by the way ... my Uncle actually works at the school.
  13. Bosh is an adequate defender. He's far from terrible. Nowitzki played on a very good defensive team to mask it, so he could get by. Amar'e wasn't signed to play great defense, yes, but he still has to play some defense, which thankfully showed some signs of improvement last game.
  14. What do people think of Richard Howell from NC State? 6'8" 260 LBS. Athletic, not a stitch of fat on this guy's body. http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Richard_Howell/Summary/3790 At times I think he could be a better NBA player (maybe not better, but more valuable) than even his teammate CJ Leslie (who seems to get all the media hype). Howell is averaging 13 pts, 11 rbs, 57% FG Each year he's gotten significantly better, he's a relentless rebounder that dominated Mason Plumlee in their game against Duke, and McAdoo did virtually nothing in the game against UNC.
  15. No I mean the injuries have been tough for him man. No doubt. But what do you mean he 'should need no defense'...He is still a max player, tell me a max player who wins a ring by playing no defense lol. We need Amar'e to at least be decent defensively! He doesn't have to be Tyson Chandler but he can't be a major liability in the playoffs, that's all I'm saying dude.
  16. Boston is going to get that 8th seed as long as they keep the team they have now in tact. Garnett and Pierce are still clearly capable of carrying that team to the 8th seed.
  17. Lol. Amar'e was definitely great overall last night -- played his role to perfection. His defense was better than versus Atlanta (had a block or two, had a few deflections, active hands, moved his feet well, etc.) and obviously offensively he was extremely efficient, he didn't force anything. And I never said we should cut him and that he was worthless ... I just simply said his defense has to become adequate in order for us to truly have a championship caliber team. His defense was definitely better last night than when I made those comments against Atlanta.
  18. Pretty good game so far. Knicks aren't playing any defense on Nelson/Redick, who have combined for 35 of the Magic 51 points at halftime.
  19. Exactly. I think it also comes down to - does he feel comfortable playing on a team that will hold him accountable, and he is expected to win? If not, Cleveland is also another reason besides the money.
  20. Didn't realize he was close to 30 years old, wow. Just seemed like yesterday (for whatever reason) that he entered the league and made a real name for himself. Anyway, I don't think he ruins the Pacers. They almost beat Miami last season. Actually, I think he's pretty vital to them being able to advance in the playoffs.
  21. Miami if he's even remotely healthy and wants to seriously compete. Cleveland if he's not really healthy and he's just looking to collect some money.
  22. Yeah, no way they get to void his contract. I would be shocked -- As you said, the MLBPA would fight that so hard. I wish the Yankees could just buy him out or something ... clearly not happening though since I think they owe him like 100 million dollars.
