  1. He's hands down top 10 of all time. To put him outside of that would be foolish; and that's coming from someone who admittedly does not like Kobe Bryant. He's very arguable of top 5 of all time too. I think it'd be even harder to argue him outside of the top 5, than to argue for him to be included IN the top 5. I'd say he's around 4-7 range of greatest of all time.
  2. Lol so every game you've seen your favorite team play they've lost? So you haven't seen any of their 55+ wins? lol
  3. Spot on. I agree pretty much with what you said here, but I think it can happen quicker than a couple of years.
  4. Adelman did a terrific job this season with Houston, but I don't think the Knicks should get rid of D'Antoni. He did a nice job this year, disappointing in the playoffs, but to judge him solely on 4 games without Chauncey Billups and times without Amar'e isn't really fair. As for roster moves, CP3 will have to wait until the offseason of 2012, and maybe we'll have enough money for him. Right now I'd make sure I brought back Billups, Shawne Williams, and Walker. The rest of the team I'd let walk (most have exp. contracts) and I'd try to find a Mike Miller type of guy with the Mid Level exception. A guy who can really knock down shots, maybe a good defensive player, or even a hard-nosed rebounding center with some size.
  5. Choked is the wrong word. First of all, game 1 they could've easily won, but had every single call in the final 2 minutes go against them. If they literally get 1 call out of the 2-3-4 questionable, swing calls, they win that game. In game 2, they were winning/keeping it close with a lineup of Mason Jr, Jeffries, Walker, Carmelo, and Douglas. Lol. That right there doesn't warrant the word "choke" next to it. They were so overmatched talent wise it was a miracle they were even in the game in the final few minutes! Game 3, they just played horrible, and Amar'e was obviously not ready to play. They doubled Carmelo each time, and no one made a god damn shot. Game 4, pretty similar to game 3, especially in the first half. Once Amar'e back improved he played better, but they still didn't have enough without Billups out there.
  6. Yeah because if we didn't get him we would've been [expletive]ed for the future. Not like Denver's doing all that great with their new squad of role players. That's all Felton, Chandler, and Gallo were. Very good role players. Would've loved to have them in the series today with Carmelo, haha, of course. But the Knicks can find other Felton's and Chandler's out there in the future.
  7. You should be the first to know how important a star player is in the playoffs. Carmelo is by far a better player than Amar'e. This series would've been totally different if Chauncey was out there. Douglas and Fields were awful. If Billups is out there, he's another guy who can hit a big shot. You saw how good the Knicks looked when Anthony Carter hitting a few shots and became an offensive threat in the 4th qtr of the game today.
  8. No they wouldn't have. Not sure if you watched game 2, but the only reason they were even in the game was because of Carmelo Anthony with one of the most epic performances in the post season of all time with 42/17/6. And, if Chauncey and Amar'e are healthy for games 2, 3, and 4, we are looking at different results. They would've at least won one of the games, if not possibly eeking out two. But with the injuries and lack of depth, no way could they run with a championship contender such as Boston. Boston was a terrible matchup for the Knicks in the first place, who finished 0-8 against them on the year. We would've been better off facing the Heat. (Wouldn't have beat them either, but the matchup just would've been better for the Knicks).
  9. Did you all fail reading in 7th grade? Your comprehension skills are lacking. He called him good, very good at least 3 times. He complemented him saying we have to just close up the middle and give him his shot, and HOPE that works, because it might not. And he's point on that if he was playing on a bad team he wouldn't look as good as he is. His game is suited perfectly for Boston. That's all he meant by that. Can you bold the part where he calls him overrated, because he clearly doesn't.
  10. Such a BS call. Looked like he slightly left his feet when the contact was made. I hate that call there, to me ith as to be definitive for the refs to call an offensive on a play like that. Ended up being a 5 point swing, and that call single handily changed the game. I guess we'll have to wait til next year before the Knicks can win a playoff game.
  11. Not to mention he basically won the 06 Finals by himself...Lol
  12. Idk if it's no effort, or the Knicks are just going up against a superior team, I'll take the latter. Let's be honest, without Billups and Amar'e at 100% (he was obviously very effected), the Knicks have no shot. Their only hope was to get some calls from the refs in their favor, and that the Celts would get cold and they could make runs in this game behind Melo and shots from Douglas, Walker and Williams. None of that happened, and therefore the Knicks got crushed. Series is obviously over, it was a fun year fellow Knicks fans, it really was. I'm confident we'll be back. Who's roaming the sidelines, and who's starting at PG will be interesting to see going into next year, but I'm confident that this team is headed in the right direction. I maintain that, today, it is still a great day to be a Knicks fan!
  13. lol if i can squeeze allen, rondo, pierce and garnett into one pic i think it'll do
  14. Hmm, that's interesting. Not a huge Jeezy fan but anything with Loso has the potential to be great. He's one of the most underrated rappers/lyricists of all time IMO. Dude's been putting out heat for years, but he's not regarded as one of the best rappers in the game, although he should be. Very few [expletive] with him lyrically right now.
  15. So sick. Came out yesterday, 4/21. Might not be as good as TINC2, but damn, it's already close. http://images.livemixtapes.com/artists/unknown/fabolous-thesoultape/cover.jpg http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/13627/fabolous_the_soul_tape.html

    Big K.R.I.T.

He's cool. I don't usually [expletive] with southern rappers, but I like him a lot. Krit Wuz Here is classic material.
  17. CP3 is smooth, wow. Huge shot at the buzzer before half!
  18. SMFH. NY Sports in the playoffs will be the death of me.
  19. Yeah pretty much. I'd say more unlucky that his hand was in that spot at that time. If Jeffries passes it differently we have a wide open dunk. Lol. But seriously wtf Rangers!!! I can't deal with this BS anymore...first the Knicks now NYR!!!
  20. Yup, 17 rebounds against one of the best defensive and better rebounding teams is nothing. Not to mention the great defensive work he's done on Pierce in both games so far limiting him very effectively. Now you're just starting to sound bitter that you guys lost the face of your franchise of the past 7 seasons...
  21. Even though I want Jared Jeffries to have the ball with 15 seconds left in a 1 pt game in the playoffs?!! JK
  22. I have nothing too serious, sometimes I do get superstitious about somethings lol. For the NYK playoff push, about 2 weeks ago I put Landry Fields as my FB profile picture. He's been playing horrible the past 2 weeks! So today I changed it to Toney Douglas hoping maybe Landry will play better.
  23. LOL. Bruce Bodreau is an asshole hahahaha!
