  1. Record Without Billups (got hurt in ORL game Mar. 1): 4-2 Record since Billups has come back: 1-7 Ok, let's be honest here, the come back by Billups has been so dreadfully unsuccessful. He turns the ball over like crazy. He's yet to put a decent 4th quarter together, and most of all he's taken some horrendous shots (including tonight) down the stretch of the game. People need to stop putting all the blame on Carmelo and realize that the team has been generally horrible with Billups running the show, especially in the 4th quarter. He takes honestly some of the worst shots I've ever seen. Talk about leadership; he's provided none down the stretch in these big games.

  3. Yup. Because it hasn't always been about that? I still think L.A.S.E.R.S was a great album. I've listened to it a ton, and I still find it to be great. I think people just expected it to be more like The Cool, but just because it's a different sound for Lupe doesn't degrade it's value IMO. There's still plenty more hip-hop CD's slated to come out this year, it's only been 3 months. So I'm confident there will be a few more very good to great releases this year.
  4. I was reading the Knicks-Magic preview on my BlackBerry, and Stan Van Gundy had an interesting take... "You only play 82 games a year," Van Gundy said. "It shouldn't be hard to go out and play hard and well all the time."
  5. Well said..... And I believe the Knicks started the season 3-12, or something like that. I'm not panicking yet. They are still trying to figure things out. We've seen flashes of greatness from this team, flashes of mediocrity, and flashes of awfulness. What are they? I'm not sure yet. I'm leaning towards mediocre with the roster and holes they have.
  6. Jared Jeffries: Don't take another shot for the remainder of the season...
  7. Eh. I agree, less back-to-back's would definitely benefit the players and the league in general, but I think it's hard to avoid completely and would probably lengthen the season a bit. I do agree they make less of them.
  8. Yeah there's too much him trying to sing, a lot of the songs seemed forced and don't seem to flow well, and a lot of songs seem to last too long...they seem so dragged out, which is never a good sign. MOTM2 was wack as hell I thought, but that's for another topic....
  9. Sounds like me and my friends lolol jk..but Cudi has become rather emo, so I've strayed away from him. Lol. His last album was poor imo. But yeah Wiz has blown up all over, not just in your city...I mean, this particular project isn't very good, but Kush & OJ and previous mixtapes were really really good with a high replay value.
  10. No. It's a long season, but not too much. I think baseball's 162 is way too many, but I think this is adequate. I wouldn't change it.
  11. Such a great mixtape...for those who haven't checked it out yet. A lot of freestyles from a great and classic lyricist, Pusha T, first solo project. http://rapradar.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/pusha-t-fear-of-god-back-cover.jpg?w=504&h=504 http://rapradar.com/2011/03/21/new-mixtape-pusha-t-fear-of-god/ ^DOWNLOAD THERE^
  12. Fair enough. But let's not act like most of the mixtapes are still a mainstream vibe. Let's not all seem like he was some hardcore underground artist with creative lyrics or something. Even mixtapes like Flight School (autotune, catchy) and Star Power had mainstream feels to it.
  13. I agree, sort of. I mean, he's not really considered a great rapper or lyricist, he just makes chill music. I guess it's more of we expected too much after Kush & OJ. Not really, though. His songs have always had a mainstream vibe. I just didn't really like the direction of this particular project.
  14. UGH. God, no. Talk about a horrible defender....... Mike D'antoni should definitely come back. I think he's good coach. Not a great coach though, but I like him, I think the players like him, and I think the Knicks are capable of winning under him...
  15. Yeah....the more I listen, I'm less and less impressed. I find it hard to listen through some of the songs. L.A.S.E.R.S is so much better than this album, and that's not even Lupe at his best. Kush & OJ is way better so far. Maybe (HOPEFULLY) this album grows on me - doubt it.
  16. Kobe's won several championships...LeBron's won nothing. That's the difference. Kobe has more credibility to take shots at former teammates because he's proven he can win on several different styles of rosters (the era with Shaq, now without him)...If LeBron had a few rings, I'm sure no one would care if he bashed a teammate or two like this.
  17. Basically. But the Knicks can play some defense at the end of the game and when they are motivated. They continue to get better on defense. I thought their defense was pretty good tonight. The Celts hit some difficult 4th quarter shots. But still, you can't score 4 points in the last 6 minutes of the game and expect to win....
  18. So much good music lately, WOW. I'll get back with a review of this in a day or two.
  19. Smfh. What a terrible ending to the game..............
  20. Nice nice man. I like that. Sean Don [expletive]a dude does it B I G lol
  21. Damn, Purdue, wtf. I really thought they'd go to the Elite 8. I loved their team. Still shocked they lost to VCU.
  22. Is it safe to say we're [expletive]ed?
