Anyone one that knows anything about rap music doesn't actually think he's the best ever.......so that eliminates that element. he's a lot better than haters think though. C3 and prior material is very very good. whether you like him or not, i don't really give a [expletive], but wayne's material was very good prior to the carter 3.

Dude...more like KEEP BILLUPS ON THE BENCH!!! He is horrible in the 4th quarter of games. He provides nothing. No defense, doesn't move the ball, takes horrible shots...basically, everything I said in the topic I started a few days ago. Landry Fields and Douglas should be on the court in the final 5 minutes of a close game - it's that simple. But, we all know it's so political, that "mr. big shot billups" has got to be out there.

I'd be SHOCKED if the Knicks win another game the rest of the season.

They've been working on it the past few weeks in the limited practices they have. It's pretty difficult when you already are a poor defensive team to improve at all with new teammates without practice time. Pretty much impossible. They just need to give the effort every night on defense and they'll be fine. I think it's definitely a good idea to give them a day off yesterday, their schedule is pretty brutal if you look at it for the next 2 weeks. They've gotta get these next two games too.

Agreed on all accounts. Jimmer's defense was indeed horrible, but like you said he was trying to save energy probably for the end of the game where they would have to have him hit big shots if they were going to win. And I agree about BYU and Davies. That's why I picked FLA in my bracket over BYU in the Sweet 16 from the start. Because I just thought Florida would matchup well against BYU without Davies.

Knicks have to stop the bleeding tonight. If they can't beat Milwaukee at the Garden with this much on the line at this point in the season, I don't know if we'll see another Knicks victory for the remainder of the season.

It was pretty obvious Jimmer got tired, especially late.... so that strategy did work out well. I just think he was forcing too much (I know he makes a lot of them) in the last few minutes of the game and in OT.

My friend showed me this dude a few weeks back. He showed me that Freaks and Geeks track. It was better than I thought it'd be...I never really looked into the rest of his material though.

I hate Duke, so I was glad to see them lose. But as a CBB fan, the tournament definitely loses some value in the long run because Duke was a great team to watch, especially with Irving back. Their defense really seemed poor tonight. The Zona win was really the only one that surprised me. The others I kinda figured would happen, just hoped SDSU could pull it out but I figured UCONN would probably end up winning a close game because of the Kemba factor. Zona vs. UCONN should be an interesting game. By simply looking at the matchup, I immediately want to advance UCONN to the Final Four, but this Zona team is scrappy.

I disagree. Most of the beats are find. The choruses get a bit repetitive since MDMA has like 3 features or some shit. The hooks are definitely one of my few disappointments with the album. Wish Lupe had another track or two with just him on the song - no features...but it is what it is. He didn't do that, mostly because of the record label BS, but I like the album a lot for what he had to deal with. Will it be as classic as The Cool? Highly doubtful, pretty much no. But I still personally love it. I love how I can listen to The Cool, then Lasers, and not feel like I just listened to the same thing for 2 hours. They just have their own vibe, their own sound...very similar to what Kanye has done with his albums, they all have their distinct vibe. Whether you like The Cool's vibe and sound better (and I did too as a true HHH), I still find Lasers very enjoyable.

Yeah and Miami had an entire TC, practices, and pre-season... I do think it's fixable, and will be fixed. I still hope Billups is back next year. I don't think he's overrated. I don't think he's going to be the eventual problem. But since he came back for the injury, there's no denying that they have struggled offensively to find any rhythm, and I'm sorry, but a lot of blame needs to be put on him here. And in the 4th quarter specifically. Those who keep saying he's not the problem have not watched the past 7 games as closely as I have...

I think you have to understand that Jimmer's going to go in there and get his 25-30 points. If you keep him under 30, you should be fine as long as you get quality looks on the offensive end and you shut down his supporting cast. It's hard to completely shut down a guy like Jimmer because he shoots from like 30 feet out, so idk how you just stop that completely.

Basically true. And rightfully so IMO. There's only, like, what? 12 games left? I mean, we should have a good idea by now...Not like it's January. Dwight could still win if they were to win like 9 out of their next 11 or something.

Well, I never said Billups was overrated. I'm just saying he's not playing like the veteran I thought the Knicks were getting. He's taken a ton of poor, low percentage shots for the Knicks since he's gotten back from the injury. He's turned the ball over a lot. In the Detroit game, in the final five minutes, Billups must have taken at least two bad shots. He did again tonight. He just comes down, doesn't even look to pass, and jacks up a shot. Most of the time the shots are really ugly and have no chance of going in. If we're going to sit here and criticize STAT & Melo, how about getting them the god damn ball cleanly for a look like they do for the entire 3 1/2 quarters. All of a sudden Billups starts forcing shit in the 4th quarter. No one wants to call him out, just Melo.

So because he won a finals MVP, what, 6, 7 years ago, he can't have a 7 game stretch where he struggles? Hmmm...Sounds like an intelligent statement.

There's other blame that goes around - but the 4th quarter struggles stem from Billups.

I'm not saying he's no longer a good player. I'm not saying the Knicks should get rid of him. The point of the topic was, I have watched the Knicks closely over this eight game stretch, and it's more Billups than anyone IMO. Melo has had his moments, Stoudemire, the entire team. But Billups has just been dreadful in the 4th quarter of the games. He has not played like a seasoned veteran we have come to expect.
