Yes, giving the people who are uninsured a choice at a public option of health care is going to have the government control our lives more! Brilliant conclusion! And LOL at you saying you want limited and smaller government, when a Republican, who I'm sure you voted for, G.W. Bush grew the size of government just as much, if not, more over his eight years than any other President in U.S. History. I really like the way Obama puts it. The idea of big government and small government is a very very stupid topic of discussion to argue upon. What we need is a BETTER government, not a bigger or smaller one.

As for Obama's plan I'd have to say "yay." I think it's pretty solid all around. The fact of the matter is too many Americans DON'T have coverage, and truly can not afford it. I believe health care coverage should be a RIGHT. I didn't believe this until I read a book, and then I was totally convinced that it's worth it to at least get a gov't run public option, and if you want your own plan that you have now, keep it.

Great tribute. Me being about 60 miles from NYC it def. "hit home" (no pun intended) when that happened. it was crazy i remember being in school at the time and they told us what happened but i had no idea the magnitude. i also remember kids getting pulled out of class, there was only about 40 kids left at the end of the school day.
