Run This Town and D.O.A. are pretty nice. Run This Town was certainly best from Kanye and Rihianna, and Jay was alright on that track. D.O.A. is a pretty dope song, though. Jay-Z is pretty good on that. This would be a lot better with a different beat. Lyrically it's good. It needs a VERSE from Drake though.

Exactly. It won't be an Album that's a classic amongst the hip-hop/rap community but I do think it will have 3-4 great songs on it, rest will probably be about average for Jay.

The beat is wack!!! Besides that, lyrically it's good. I wish they could have hooked Drizzy up with a verse though.... also how is the BP3 bad so far?? Run this town is pretty good, not great, but good. D.O.A. IS HOT too. Very good, maybe not a classic, but a very good song, slightly better then Run This Town. Yeah BP3 may not be one of the greatest rap albums of all time, or a classic, but i think it's going to have some great songs on it and it certainly is not bad at all so far. this song WOULD be VERY good if the beat was better. it's only average cuz of the wack beat.

I just got another used system. Hopefully this one will work. If it doesn't, I'm convinced it's the actual game of Madden (which is new)...

I don't necessarily agree with that at all, actually. Most of the used systems they sell are pretty good and work properly, from what I've read and heard from a few friends who have bought used ones. Sure I'd probably be safer with a new one, but also 70 dollars poorer. lol.

yeah i like him a lot too. can't wait for the new album. i just like him because he's something different, fresh. I know he's not the best rapper out lyrically, or doesn't have the best flow, but the dude makes some stuff that really sounds good and is just flat out different, i like that a lot.

No. 30 day warranty, I'll just get another used system for free. I know, but for me to get another 70 dollars will take three weeks. I don't start my job until Thursday, so I am literally down to 0 dollars. Lol. The Used systems are generally fairly reliable I've talked to a few friends who have purchased them. I think I just got unlucky. Look, I know your idea makes sense and is logical, I just really don't feel like waiting 3 or 4 weeks at this point.

Yo guys, Got some real bad luck... Now the PS3 doesn't work. I guess it was just bad luck getting a used one that didn't work. Played Madden for five minutes and it froze. Re-booted the system, tried it again, froze at the start upscreen. Gave it one more shot, and it said on the last chance "An error occured at startup" or something along those lines. Since Madden was brand new out of the case, have to assume it was the used system. Going to bring it all back tomorrow and hopefully get another used system. Sigh.

thanks el nino. yeah i liked my 360, it was a very good system besides the unreliability, which in the end just sort of pushed me towards trying out the PS3. How do you connect to the wi-fi for the PS3? I have a wireless network in my house, I want to tap into that but don't know what I am doing. I can't seem to get it (I know where to go for it in the network settings on the PS3 but I can't seem to get it to work) Help??

So I went with a 40gb refurbished ps3. I got 250 dollars for everything I traded in, not bad for someone who was out of warranty with a broken 360. I'll take it. I got madden too. Only thing I need now is the HD cables and NCAA football and I'm set. Quick question and I'm sure an extremely stupid one: Is it alright to lay your ps3 down horizontally? I always see it in pics standing vertical.

The game was good for 360. My 360 just broke last night, but I had the game for a good week or so and loved it, probably the best sports game I've ever played. Realism was pretty good, and overall it was fun. Didn't have XBL Gold Membership so I don't know how it is online, but I did a franchise and it was fun while it lasted. Now I'm probably going to get PS3...Hopefully it will be equally as good. Does anyone know if they have the same roster updates for PS3 online as they did for XBOX 360 Online?

It has HDMI inputs. It is an HD 50" Phillips. I could use the standard TV cables though, but I obviously wouldn't be getting the best graphics possibly and it would look quite [expletive]ty. How much do the cables run at Eb Games? Also, as for the refurbished stuff, you really think it's that unreliable? The fact that it is 70 dollars cheaper has me thing it might be worth the risk, but if it's that bad...

Alright. It looks like I'm going to try to go with the 40GB PS3 GameStop Refurbished tomorrow. I'll see how it goes. First, I gotta see what they give me for all my stuff. It needs to be in the ballpark of 200, a little less a little more I'll go with it...if it's no where close I'll just have no other choice but to wait 5-6 weeks, check to see if the 360 is still under warranty (have had the system for 3 years or so, thinking my chances are slim anyway) and just sending it back in the kauffin.

They do. Where did I say anything about the new slim system? I was comparing the 80gb regular ps3 to the 40gb regular ps3.
