You now own the Knicks. What do you do?
JYD replied to Real Deal's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
You have to approach this from a realistic mindstate too. Melo and Amar'e have never had lower trade value. And, plus, you have to understand that it's still early in the process. So, the Last option for now. Still only 10 games in. Also, let's not forget who they've played the last 5-6 games. All teams really better than them at this point.... Melo/Amar'e have been in and out of the lineup all year, too, with injuries or whatever. Lin is still basically a rookie, he's got to continue to improve and build chemistry with these guys. I haven't given up all hope just yet.. the team shows glimpses. I think making another move is just setting you back further. You have to ride til the end of this season with this current roster and see where it takes you. If it's obvious it's not going to work after another 24 games, then you consider making a major overhaul in the off-season. -
i was actually considering that before i saw your post lmfao. just bought this shirt saturday. hey it was on sale for 10.97 at a nike outlet cut me a break http://www.solecamp.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/screen-shot-2011-03-14-at-85051-pm.png

He's been hurt Lol... Idk, Cavs are obviously not out of it...but I still think Bucks and Knicks have better chance. I actually like Milwaukee's chances best. Hoping they trade away Brandon Jennings though lol.

OL, LB, CB, S, TE (in that order) are most pressing needs.
-
The entire trade for this guy trade for that needs to stop. Legacies are on the line - Melo and Amar'e wanted to come here. They will succeed/fail (define success/failure)...you're not going to trade them based on 50 games, or a six game losing streak. Right now, it looks like the odds are against them. It seems as though you are right, they are not a cohesive fit, for many obvious reasons...but you can't quit on them yet. This could either get a lot better, or it could get a lot worse, before one of the two, or both, are gone.

How about getting a [expletive]ing rebound in the 4th? Maybe it'd come to you then. The lack of rebounding is brutal, especially in this game. Despite the efficient shooting night, STAT hasn't rebounded in 10 years, he won't do it now. Hasn't play defense, either, and he won't do it now. Melo was ok...I just think tonight was a prime example of losing to a team better than them. I mean, that's really a lot of what has happened as well...the Knicks are not as good as Dallas, San Antonio, Boston, and Chicago...definitely not on the road. No trades are needed, and it's not the coaches fault. The players are not performing to their ability. I'm trying to remain patient, but at some point it becomes tough. The Knicks don't have much time - I think this is the last week for MDA and the team this season. If they can't muster 2 out of the next 3, I honestly don't think they will make the playoffs. The rest of March's schedule is pretty tough. April is not any easier. I see only about 4 games out of 13 that I'm positive the Knicks should win. I could realistically see the Knicks losing 15 of the last 24 games...
-
yeah and MDA didn't want to get melo.
-
I think MIL or NY is taking the 8th spot
-
Yeah just terrible. It's not even a fun team to watch. It'd be one thing if they were just playing no defense, but they are really horrible in every facet. BRUTAL. you might get your wish though. i'm confident this is MDA last week
-
you didn't watch the game today right?
-
you really don't think he was doing this before this year? http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/101/771/1879f18e_e542_e1c6.jpg

[expletive] man this place is dead. i guess only so many different ways you can say "knicks suck"
-
lol k team is just awful. melo and amare are playing terrible, and they don't play any defense. having them both on the court at the same time is brutal unless they are making shots. it's no surprise that this team was tearing it up w/o them. they can have one of the floor at a time, but having both at the same time = no defense and when their shots don't go in, the team is terrible since it's built around them scoring. this is far past the coach IMO. i don't think d'antoni is the problem. was he the problem in the 7 game win streak??? SMFH

why would the wizard want andrew bogut lol

Gee posterizes Birdman
JYD replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
idk that's an incredibly weird play. i don't think gee should've gotten T'd up...my point was if Shump got T'd up for his, Gee should too. Keep it consistent. IMO NEITHER player should've been T'd up. -
If they had Chandler or even Jeffries and Shumpert they probably win. Their biggest problem was definitely D....the perimeter D was brutal, rebounding and interior D was even [expletive]ing worse... The Knicks are the most frustrating team I've ever been a fan of or watched. The Knicks show flashes (like mid 4th qtr when they came back from 15, or the 4th qtr of Bos game) of being a real good team. But too many lapses, and the 3rd qtr wtf??? It's so frustrating to watch it really is they gotta start to win games man because they are only up 2 in the 8th seed! It's crazy because the schedule gets tougher from here, and the Knicks can't continue to lose games and say "we are fine" after every game. at some point, you either win or the season is completely over. I mean, it's over already even if they make the playoffs. They wont get a game off CHI or MIA

As I said, Gronkowski really is a homo.

man this guy a [expletive]got real talk

Must win?

Gee posterizes Birdman
JYD replied to Cleveland's Finest's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
nice dunk but perfect example of how ridiculous and inconsistent nba officiating is. he stared down birdman after the dunk. shumpert did same thing against boston sunday and got a technical. wheres the tech for gee???? -
I thought he went to L.A. lmao
