Josh Hamilton "I Don't Owe The Rangers Anything"
JYD replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Baseball Forum
Well, let's be fair here, Tru Trojan's post made sense. Hamilton made some major mistakes but turned his entire life around. -
Josh Hamilton "I Don't Owe The Rangers Anything"

Not only that, I think he appreciates the opportunities given to him, but you must remember that he did turn things around with his own will. He had a terrible addiction and he was the one who to go and live through that, not the Rangers organization. Much more credit needs to be given to Hamilton for turning it around and producing the kind of numbers he has the past few seasons. The Rangers and Reds deserve credit for believing in him, when seemingly not many did, but he was the one who went out and did it, and he doesn't "OWE" them anything. -

You could also say he's been an inspiration off the field for people who are drug addicts. But OK. -
What is possibly running through your mind when you start a thread such as this? SMFH

Kyrie seems like a darn good player, and we know he is talented. I think it'll take a year or two before he becomes a great player, at the very least. We have to remember how young he is and how many games he missed at Duke w/ injury. I definitely like what Cleveland is doing though, I think they have some nice pieces going forward. Man, if they could just get that star player, not even like a superstar but an all star, maybe a Joe Johnson type caliber player to go along with the other pieces they'd be good. I still remember back in my senior year of high school(2010) my friend hooped aginst Kyrie in some summer league game or some shit. He's like "Yea bro he ain't even that good he barely did anything against me" Lmao he ended up at Duke & #1 overall pick

Don't really know who most of those dudes are, except Gerald Green came in with a lot of hype. Safe to say he hasn't panned out.

Wat does that at all have to do with anything ? lmfao you a clown flash

Pretty much what everyone expected. Heat are best team in NBA, Knicks aren't even close to a top-tier team. Hopefully the team improves with time/practice in the next two weeks. I think the 2nd unit is continuing to improve...the 1st unit is pretty brutal, Carmelo still looks mediocre and Amare is meh. It was a boring game for the most part IMO. I never got the feeling it was all that close.
-
yeah i feel similar...i don't think we'd take em in a series in april, but i think the games will all be close. I think tonight will be interesting though, but could be a blowout. The heat have that ability to just flat out blow a good team out

Lol...that's cuz it's gonna be like 40% knick fans at least

Hahaha. Should be a good game. I usually play basketball on Thursday nights in a league, gonna skip it cuz I want to watch this so much Lol.

Magic Johnson to launch a black television network
JYD replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in General NBA Discussion
I can't wait to see the network. ECN can suck a dick -
Yeah, they did take a while, supposedly that was because of some type of PS3 online glitch though that they had to sort out (People's games were freezing upon start up)... And Jeremy Lin is useless in this game. You can't get a shot off inside. Can't shoot at all from the outside... He's like a slow version of Nash. He gets everything blocked, and you can't play any D at all with him. First of all, he should be higher than 75. He's been averaging 25/9/5 on 50% shooting in ten games. He should be like an 80, at the very least. Maybe even an 85. If his play starts to decline in real life, than bring him down with each update...at least let users have fun with him while the "Linsanity" runs rapid. Lol.

Steve Francis was a good player. He had injuries that eventually derailed his career...
-
Lol. Jordan is way better than Evans, and has far greater potential. I expect Jordan to be one of the best centers in the NBA within the next two seasons...

Yeah... Although, many of theirs were wide open, many of ours were contested. Although we missed our fair share of open ones, too. I think fatigue was an issue, I know the Nets played 3 in a row, but I mean more of mental fatigue. Definitely not an excuse, because the Nets out played us, but I think it's difficult to maintain that intensity after such a crazy game vs. Dallas and all the hoopla the past few weeks.

Yeah they should. What's the problem you are having? They were updated about 4 days ago. Oh yeah, I'm 66-45 now online.
