Yeah it becomes a loyalty issue which BFT hit on a bit there. I think for the make up on the team, it'd make sense to move him. I also see a guy who's starting to age with back and definite knee injuries. I DO think he has lost SOME (NOT all) explosiveness this season... I'd debate moving him, it would really depend on for who though. I mean, it's tough, because if you're going to move him for some role players and a mediocre PG, I don't think it's even worth it.

I agree. Lin seems like a really solid passer, and a much better penetrating the D than Douglas. And, also, Lin does not seem content settling for three pointer's 5 feet behind the arc. I like that from him. I bet he'll see some time early in the games during this three game stretch. I'd be shocked otherwise. Yeah, Detroit is horrendous and they don't have any talent. Monroe is decent, Knight has some upside, outside of that they have 12 other garbage players.

The entire situation is laughable to me. The guy can barely participate in practice, he's participated in 1-2 full practices, and people expect him to come right in here and contribute? We can only hope so.

The problem with the Bulls at the end of the games against good teams (ex MIA) is they pack the paint and won't let Rose in there. His wing players/backcourt is mediocre, and he is either going to have to force a shot or kick it out to them. Most of the time he forces a bad shot and either gets the foul call and in the playoffs he doesn't a lot of times. If he wants to be on that MJ-clutch level he needs to develop a great jumper. I think that will take him to the next level. He's already great; add a great jumper and he's that much better.

No, D'Antoni doesn't deserve to be fired yet. Carmelo looked so much better tonight after he rested his injuries. I think this three game stretch for the Knicks determines D'Antoni's fate. And Phil Jackson would never come to the Knicks with this current roster. So this thread sucks.

I'd take Pau. More skilled passer, more skilled in general I think. Not as athletic, but might also be slighter taller, too. Has proven he can do it on the biggest of stages in the playoffs/finals. Gimmie Pau.
