Yeah, a lot of pressure for Melo if he comes back Friday, and they have gone 7-0 on this stretch. If they lose, uhhh, he may not make it out alive!
-
It's way different than Tebow, for multiple reasons, I really don't see too much of the comparison. The only comparison I see is that they were doubted by many people, therfore they've become national stories... and they have strong religious faith...otherwise....

Yeah, he didn't seem to be in the flow in the 1st half. He said in the post game Toronto was giving him a new look on the PnR, and it definitely wasn't working outside of a few nice passes... Idk why it took D'Antoni so long, I think he was maybe afraid Shumpert would get into foul trouble, therefore killing the possibility of having Shump on him in the 4th qtr... I also think D'Antoni was hoping Calderon would miss. Many of the shots were open looks, but I'd say 3-4 of his 15-17 foot jumpers Lin got there with a hand in his face and he hit it. Also, a few of them Amar'e LAZILY switched onto him and didn't get hand up...

Tell Mayweather to suck it how about that...[expletive]a probably gonna be in jail doe

Still in shock. Lin really came around in this game. He was shaky at first, not playing horrible, but just out of sorts, then really turned it on at the end. Crazy mayne! And Shumpert with that lockdown 2k12 type D on Calderon lmao

WHAT is Lebron & Wade telling Wall?
JYD replied to Need4Sheed's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
Probably saying how bad their team is. And he needs to find a way out. And how he wants to ball with that [expletive]a in olympic play -
Lin's been great defensively. At least much better than anyone could've expected. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BYePYQDrtc

Clippers are easily more likeable. The only person I've really liked on the Heat is Wade. LeBron, never been his biggest fan, but to be honest, I did not find a dislike for him until The Decision and the way he handled it. Bosh, I've always disliked Bosh... I like CP3, one of my favorite players, always has been, really, and Blake Griffin is awesome to watch (just bought his hyperdunks, they are pretty [expletive]ing awesome too) but I wouldn't say he's one of my favorite players... and DeAndre Jordan goes under the radar in midst of the entire CP3/Griffin thing.

Lol. What a [expletive]in idiot

Lin sparks renewed Howard discussion?

Figured you'd like the Jared Jeffries look. I have to admit, he's grown on me! -
Lin sparks renewed Howard discussion?
JYD replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
Yeah, but my point was if we had CP3/Melo/Amare/Tyson...would everyone still say Melo couldn't play with a PG who has the ball in his hands a lot and distributes and runs the offense? Or would they say, "Wow, what a tandem..." I'm not comparing Lin to CP3; I'm saying his play style is similar to CP3 in that he can play make, set up, and pass to teammates... -
Man, it's been a minute since I made a sig...S/O to Guru that wall on the way. Needed a warm up http://i43.tinypic.com/sg0ndc.jpg

Lin sparks renewed Howard discussion?
JYD replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
Wait, who has conflicting styles of play? Amar'e and Melo? What if we had Chris Paul? Does that mean we'd have to do away with Melo because Chris Paul needs the ball to run the offense? -
Lin sparks renewed Howard discussion?
JYD replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I was talking this over with my Dad, actually about 5 days or so ago...once Lin really started to play well. What if it doesn't work when Amar'e and Melo come back? I really think the trade below would work. We agreed that it would make sense for both teams to do this (assuming contracts/cap work out correctly): Carmelo Anthony Tyson Chandler FOR Dwight Howard Hedo Turkoglu But, I don't see why the team can't work with Amar'e and Carmelo. What if we got Chris Paul? Would we say the same thing? -
Lakers Supporting Cast: Just How Bad Are They?
JYD replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Supporting cast is pretty bad. That's why I'd probably do Gasol/Bynum for Howard/Turkoglu is ORL would do it -
Really stole one, Knicks played great D in the 2nd half to hang around...Lin played poorly in the 2nd half, mostly due to fatigue (he was short on every damn shot) but also credit the Wolves for good D, especially Rubio... Glad they could get outta here with a W in a tough back to back. Now two days off, and back at it vs. Raptors on Tuesday.
-
Yeah, college, wow. I mean, I guess it makes sense. Canada. Raptors. All ties together.
-
Yeah he should've done than then get outplayed by him and lose. Would've looked great.
-
I don't. Just speculation that Kobe might have heard something about what he was doing. I wasn't expecting a "Wow, Lin has been amazing! Dude is awesome to watch, really rooting for him!" Even if he didn't see what he's doing, I don't understand why he dwelled on the question for so long
-
Whatever. I never said he had to give Lin any credit at all. Of course he should never do that. He's Jeremy Lin. But, to act like he has no idea what he's done when that's the next team you are facing seems foolish to me. But to each his own.

When those doubles/triples come 26 feet from the basket, the second you see guys come towards you the ball needs to move. Not once you are stuck having to make a jump pass to get out of it. And I know he technically said who he was, but you know what I meant. He was doing his typical, let me try to intimidate because I'm an all time great, "who is this guy I haven't heard how he's playing" thing. No need to keep staying that... And what does Kobe live in a complete bubble? Is Mike Brown a terrible coach and did not inform him the guy has been playing great the past few games and this is how we will defend him? And no, I did not watch the video. I read the quotes though.

You forgot two other things, to be fair. Knicks played well. And the Lakers were tired.
