That's the main concern with our team. I just wish we would stop asking for so much in return so we could make a move already and get some much needed cap relief. Cleveland doesn't seem like a great option, but right now it seems to be our only option. With the trade deadline only 2 weeks away, we better start exploring other realistic possibilities.

Yes Jamison would help them win a title, but who knows how long he would stay with them? Lebron won't have a good supporting cast forever and we'll have our chance to top them. Either way, we have to move him because holding onto an unhappy Jamison isn't going to do us any good. It's time to rebuild, and we have a chance to shed a good amount of salary by trading him to Cleveland.

I misunderstood the Kevin Martin comment, my bad. Why would us trading an aging Jamison to the Cavs assure that Lebron would always top us for the rest of his career? Besides, the latest rumor says that the Wizards are asking for too much from the Cavs so the trade may not go down at all.

You'd probably be the second seed in the East rather than the third. Not a huge change, Rondo is definitely carrying you guys though.

Lol there is no way the Celtics are a "let-down" when they are still a top team in the East with injuries. Let's not even go there... We already new the Nets were not going to be very good this year, and it's clear they are tanking for John Wall right now and just don't care anymore. The Wizards are the biggest upset because not only did they fail to meet their expectations as a 4-5 seed in the East, we are now in the bottom 5 worst teams in the entire league despite our heavy loaded roster. We have Gilbert and Crittenton getting charged with felony gun possessions and getting suspended for the rest of the year, we have Jamison and Miller battling multiple injuries, we have players who are upset with their roles and "wouldn't mind" being traded, and not to mention Caron is having one of his worst seasons of his entire career and doesn't function well under Flip Saunders. So yeah, we're by far the biggest let-down of the season.

I'm pretty sure the whole "rivalry" doesn't factor in as much as the media is making it seem. There is no rivalry, we just suck compared to them. Why would we want Kevin Martin, another scorer who plays weak defense? He is definitely not someone we need.

I've watched multiple games from him, I get international basketball on my tv back at home so I know enough about his game. And athleticism is definitely not overrated...

Not another Kobe/Lebron thread that will lead to people comparing them... It will be between just them 2. Wade has not played efficiently enough to be a high runner up. Nash is the only other possibility, and the Suns have had horrible road game skids which has been killing their record after their amazing start. So yeah, it will be either Lebron or Kobe for MVP.

I was never calling him a bad defender, but John Wall is a great defender. Rubio's defense is like Chris Paul. He's pretty good at staying on his man but racks up a lot of steals, a lot of times from going for loose balls. John Wall's size and athleticism gives him the edge on man-to-man and is definitely a bigger defensive threat than Rubio.

Thunder. Having a young up-and-coming team like them have playoff success would be amazing.

That trade could be argued as greedy, but a trade between the Wiz and Rockets with only Haywood being the big name is very greedy. If they combine Haywood and Butler for a T-Mac + others, then I could see that as working out for both teams. Washington gets: Tracy McGrady Luis Scola Houston 1st Round Pick Houston gets: Brendan Haywood Caron Butler Mike Miller In that deal, you guys are definitely winning that trade without question. But it does help us shed a lot of salary so I could see it as a possibility.
