  1. Haha I agree, but with Gil's rep going down the dumps, it had to change.

  3. Looks like we may be waiting a few weeks before a trade happens: http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/63771/20100102/investigation_puts_wizards_trade_talks_on_hold/ Although, one rumored trade was Caron + Mike James for Kirk Hinrich and Jerome James. I feel like we'd be getting the raw end of that deal and I'd want at least a draft pick thrown in there.
  4. I like both of those lol. Hmm this is a tough call.
  5. I'm between MillerTime (for Mike Miller) or Gun-Zero lol. Can't really choose.
  6. Gotta change your sig too bro. I had to edit my forum appearance too .
  7. Well they're both going to get in trouble, but no one cares about Crittenton.
  8. Lol, it's a sin to bad mouth the freakishly tattooed basketball god. My bad.
  9. Actually, not really. Lost: -Oleksiy Pecherov: A waste-of-space 3 point chucking big man with zero basketball IQ and no box out ability. -Etan Thomas: Coming off open heart surgery, he is no longer an NBA worthy player. He has minimal endurance, little strength that can only last him a few minutes per game, and inconsistency on the rebounding end. -Darius Songaila: A solid role player and by far the most productive of the 3 we gave away, but nothing special. Another power forward who is all offense and no defense. -5th Pick: This last draft was definitely not one of the stronger drafts of this decade. If we kept the pick, we would have ended up drafting Jordan Hill. The Wizards front office stated that we would have picked James Harden if he was available, with Jordan Hill as the secondary choice. As we saw, Harden was picked #3, which would have lead us to picking Hill, who we can see with his performance with the Knicks so far that he is not an NBA quality big man... yet. As far as Miller and Foye go, there's a chance one of them (hopefully Miller) will resign with us. But if not, they are both expirings and that just means more cap room for us to pick at the free agency this summer. This team is long overdue for a rebuilding period, and even though the trade was not composed for that purpose, it looks like it could end up helping us in the long run. Rebuilding is a lengthy and painful process, but hopefully it will be worth it. And that is why our entire team has been placed on the trading block.
  10. It sounds kind of weird that us true Wizards fans are hoping he gets convicted of a felony just so we can scrap his contract haha. Sad but true, the man dug his own hole. What the [expletive] is going through a well known professional athlete's head when he decides to pull a gun on his own teammate over a gambling? It's going to be REALLY hard to root for this team with all of the [expletive] that's been happening to them this year...
  11. I'm guessing Redd was put above Parker just because Redd was picked so much later. I don't know why they would put Eddie Griffin on the honorable mentions list if he died... That seems a bit ridiculous.
  12. Whaddup man, you've made some good posts so far, stick around.
  13. lmfao Well I just saw that you can only change your name once every 30 days, so I gotta pick wisely haha. I might be able to jokingly become someone's #1 fan on this site haha, we'll see.
  14. It says you're still a mod of OTR's Pick and Roll under the moderating team.
  15. I feel like whenever this guy talks to players, the players look annoyed by him just being there. They avoid looking at the camera and almost seem to give him half-assed answers unless they're commenting on his wardrobe. He has a lot of inside access, but that should be given to a better reporter. "I'm Elie Seckbach... rePOORting..."
  16. The trade wouldn't be to necessarily improve our success as a team, but to give us salary comfort for the upcoming offseason, and that combined with all of our expiring contracts gives us a lot of money to spend in the off season. Obviously McGrady wouldn't help our team with winning, but he would definitely with our rebuilding in the long run.
  17. Ah, a fresh start to a new Random Thread, and I hit the first page :glasses: WHY GILBERT WHY
