At this point it could really go either way. I'd consider them tied right now.

I.... wasn't blaming anyone or pointing fingers. I was just pointing out. And the people I talked to so far haven't signed up yet, I'm talking to them via PM on other websites and so far 3 of them have asked about the homepage not being updated. There isn't any rush, and as I stated in my first post, it is difficult to manage a homepage where you must have articles almost daily. That is why I suggested we replace it with something that requires less updates so the website doesn't look dead.

Cavaliers will ask league to review Kobe's hit
JWaLL replied to The Regime's topic in Cleveland Cavaliers Team Forum
I can understand your denial being a Laker fan, but watch the video again... Mo was looking in the OTHER direction that Kobe was coming from, and Kobe was also coming in at a decent speed and clearly put some force into his forearm before knocking into Mo. Mo IMMEDIATELY fell down after the contact. This wasn't a flop as if he was trying to draw a charge or something. Kobe knocked the much smaller Mo to the ground, and Kobe is much bigger and stronger than him. It was no accident, and there was clearly no flopping. -
The last one was written on November 26th... Maybe we should think about putting something else there in place of the old articles, because some members I have been trying to recruit lately have all, so far, asked why the homepage doesn't seem to be updated. I love the sidebars on the homepage, but those articles should probably be replaced with something else.

Alrighty then.

Cavaliers will ask league to review Kobe's hit

Mo's a small guy. He's a skinny 3 point shooting point guard so one would expect him to bounce off of Kobe like that. I just can't imagine someone acting from a hit like that when they couldn't even see it coming, there just isn't enough time to react and think "I should flop to get the call." -
Hell yeah!

You mean besides drafting Lebron?

LOL we're so pathetic.

Not your best unfortunately. The text doesn't match at all and the render looks really awkward and isn't blended.

So when should I answer these by?

Mo definitely didn't flop, he was completely blindsided by Kobe. -
Exactly. I love Gil, but he is a shooting guard, not a point guard. We need to bring in someone to actually run the offense and look to get open shots for the surrounding players rather than their own. Since we have no one running the floor, everyone is just waiting to get the ball in their hands so they can do whatever it takes to get their shot off, and if they absolutely can't get a look they dish it off to a teammate, and this process repeats until a turnover or until the shot clock begins to wind down and we chuck up a prayer.
-
Of course he is lol I remember RD saying something about him taking some time off for work and the holidays. I'm sure he'll be back within the next month, but I don't expect him to be very active until later in the next year.

He has definitely been playing great lately. He's finally taking advantage of his ability to drive and get fouled on almost every trip to the hoop. However, even with a healthy core, we haven't ever been a contending team. Our front office has this "wait and see" notion about waiting for our core to finally be healthy together, which they are, because they feel we can go deep into the playoffs with them. They haven't been providing anywhere near to our expectations, and I think it is finally time for us to make some moves and rebuild our team. Rebuilding always starts with parting ways with at least one of our best players. A blockbuster trade is needed.

http://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-091126-27/weekend-dime-first-trimester-awards ^^ Look on the right side of that link. No trade in this article appears to be realistic. If the Rockets were dumb enough to go through with the McGrady for Gilbert swap, his expiring contract would help us immensely. The only question is, why would the Rockets ever accept that trade? I don't see Jamison ever going to Cleveland. I'll just leave it at that.

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/wizardsinsider/2009/12/timberwolves-101-wizards-89.html Good article IMO. It definitely points out what I've been saying this whole time; how each player is just looking to get their OWN shot off, rather than look on the court to find the BEST shot, even if it's not them taking it. Minnesota out rebounding us with ease last night was absolutely disgraceful.

I forgot I signed up for this lol.

Cavaliers will ask league to review Kobe's hit

Exactly. That's an example of another immature gesture, but not really sure what that has to do with this lol. -
That could be a possibility for much later when our top posters approach the necessary requirement of posts needed. Adding those now would only encourage spam and short thoughtless posts.

Grown men shouldn't be bull rushing into each other because they are frustrated with their team's performance. -
I've tried recruiting many times in the past, and some Wizards fans stayed for a short bit, but left because "there were too many Lakers fans" as they claimed. I think that is a pointless reason not to stay in my opinion, but I'm going to state my opinion on how they might feel. I think it's tough to join a community that is so dominated by one team and stay active at this point in OTR's existence. Most of us active members joined in late June when the board was revived so it was easy for us to jump into the community and fit right in. Now members join this late who aren't repping the Lakers feel a sense of intimidation, and feel like it will be difficult to have a sense of individuality on the board. Recruiting for smaller fanbased isn't as easy as it sounds. I brought in 12 separate members within about 5 days, and only 3 of them stayed active for over a week. I haven't heard from any of them ever since (only one was a Laker fan by the way). So, I guess my point is, recruiting for lower fanbased teams such as the Wizards seem pointless at this point, because after multiple trial and errors, none of them seem to stay.

Disgraceful... -_-
