Well, according to Wiki, he was a DJ (obviously) and he DJ'd a lot of celeb parties and what not. Was in a serious plane crash along side Travis Barker (drummer from Blink-182) in which he survived and then they are speculating that he did a Heath Ledger and OD'd on prescription drugs (I think, going off memory). It's sad really.

Just found out about this. Didn't really know who he was but it's always sad to see someone so young to pass on. R.I.P. Adam Goldstein (I looked it up on Wiki)

I'd vote for Pac and Hendrix. And I laughed at the boy bands, hahaha.

I'm kind of in between on the matter. While I do think it's one of the most selfish acts a person could do and I feel people shouldn't feel bad for those that commit the act, I somewhat do feel bad for them still. It's like, you don't know what that person was going through. Whether it be someone getting bullied a lot, or someone going through an addiction problem (my uncle was going through a heavy drug problem and hung himself because he obviously felt he wouldn't be able to get through it), or if a loved one just recently died and feel they can't go on living without that person. You never know the full situation. So I'm in between, while I do think it's selfish, part of me wants to feel bad for the person, especially the families and friends involved in it. Keep the discussion going, liking both points of views on this.

I'd like to recommend a couple for the rock side...Slash of Guns N Roses/Velvet Revolver, Randy Rhoads of Ozzy Osbourne, or Jimi Hendrix of the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

So what are your thoughts on suicide? What would you do if a member posted on the boards saying that they werre going to kill themselves tonight? I mean, obviously there isn't a whole lot you can do since your hundreds of miles away but what would be the first thing you would do or say? Obviously, people would think it was a joke at first and mock the person...But what if he really did do it? I've had a family member commit suicide in the past (at least 10 years ago or so) and it's a tough thing to go through especially at the age I was at and I can only imagine what my cousin's had to go through (it was their dad). Anyways, have you ever had thoughts of suicide? Had a family or friend commit suicide? And no, I'm not thinking about suicide and I never have, I just thought it might be a good discussion on the topic as it's kind of a hard subject to talk about.

Come on Courtney, what's done is done. Realize the NBA is a business. You're going to get traded. I mean, look at QRich. -
Oden eager to prove his value to Blazers
Dr. Feelgood replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
For 22mpg, he put up some pretty good stats for a rookie year behind Joel. I expect Oden will have a fantastic year this season and could very well be most improved player of the year. I'm very eager for this damn season to start already....jeez. -

Caron Butler stops drinking soda
Dr. Feelgood replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
I remember a few years back, I stopped drinking soda for about a year in a half when I accidentily, without even thinking, took a drink of my sister's diet coke. I should go back to not drinking soda again. Stick to iced tea and juices as well as water. -

It's a shame he wont play in the NBA for at least 2 years. Was looking forward to seeing him play with the big dogs of the NBA. -

The thing with the Makaveli is....There's a K in it? What's with the K? Oh, and Kurt Cobain and Chris Farley are hiding with Pac. I believe it. Honestly though, I think he's NOT alive. People need to realize that.

What's the most free throws you've made in a row?
Dr. Feelgood replied to Diesel's topic in Other Basketball Discussion
I think the most for me was about 16. I'm a decent FT shooter. Would say probably 6-7/10 for me. I wanna try 100 and see how many I make then. -
I have a couple of muslim friends...I fasted for a day and it was pretty tough since I don't do it every year like they (and you guys) do. Props for doing it and sticking with it.

Of course I think Roy is the better player because I'm a homer. But the maturity Melo showed in the playoffs this year impressed me. It's like right when the post season came, he changed his attitude 100% and you could tell that just by watching him. I think getting Billups on the team has helped Melo grow into a much better player. Brandon Roy for me though.

What kind of player are you?
Dr. Feelgood replied to Celtics3420's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
That described me pretty good. Though on defense, I'd like to think I'm a little bit above average. People usually see me and think they can cross me with ease but I can usually poke the ball away against people who have never played against me. Down in the post on defense, I can usually match up with people a couple of inches taller than me since I've got upper body strength but when they have upper body strength, it's usually an easy bucket for them. When I have someone smaller guarding me, I'll go right into the post and post up the person on me because I do have upper body strength. I'm a slightly below three point shooter. I will probably make 4-10 from downtown. I've been known to miss threes in the middle of games but when the game is coming down to the wire, I've also been known to make the game winning three. My mid range shot is slightly above decent. I don't usually like to shoot as I prefer to drive in for a layup or for an assist. I'll usually drive to the right but lately have been trying to perfect my left hand layup as it does come in handy but right now looks UGLY. That's my game. -
I got the red ring of death back during winter when we were having sporadic black outs (the power would turn off and then on really quickly) and my 360 got the RROD. All I did was turn it off, wait like a minute, and then turned it back on and it worked fine. It's been good ever since. Never had to send it in or anything. Don't get a PS3, LAAAAME.
