My friends and I tried this...No one fell for it and even had a couple of people say "What the hell are you guys doing?" We did it exactly like the people on the video too...I guess people in OR are smarter than others around. We did this for a good 25-30 mins before giving up since we never got the reaction we wanted and we looked pretty stupid too.

I didn't like how they dealt John Salmons but that's ok. I really like KMart and Beno. Also, I'm excited to see what more Thompson will do and what Evans can do. Also, Noc is pretty good too. I don't watch their games (because they aren't nationally televised anymore) but I do pay attention to their box scores.

I think Gil will bounce back nicely and I'd expect to see him in the All-Star game NEXT season, not this up coming season, but the one after it.

So tonight, I just finished "The Chris Farley Show"...and damn. It was definitely worth the money I spent on it. Very good biography of him. It tells about his obvious addiction to drugs and alcohol and how well he could hide it to those around him. Talked about how we got clean and sober for a good 2 years before relapsing to alcohol. I must say, I loved this book. The very last chapter was the hardest to read. I got a bit teary eyed (no tears though, I was expecting it with all the reviews I was reading). I definitely recommend you pick up this book if you love Chris Farley or want to know anything about it. My new favorite biography, I loved it even more than "Slash".

Nope. Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue

Yeah, my problem is practicing consistantly. Before I got the tabs for Pork and Beans (which was last night), I hadn't picked up my guitar in about a month. Though, it's an easy riff and I'm sure I'll get it down sometime in a week or so. I just need to keep practicing everyday. Maybe sometime, if you don't mind, I'd like to hit you up on AIM for a couple of pointers every now and then.

Was wondering if anyone here plays or has played any musical instruments. Back during 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, I played the trumpet. I wasn't good at it but I wasn't really bad at it. I was about in the middle of the group (we were ranked by how good we were). It was fun and cool but when I got to high school, I knew it wasn't for me, so I stopped playing. About a year or so ago, I read a book titled "Slash" which is the autobiography of Slash the guitar player from Guns N Roses and Velvet Revolver. After I read that book, it made me want to play guitar. So I bought an Epiphone Les Paul Special II that came with an amp and case. For the first month, I tried learning to play it but decided I'd find a tutor. So I found a tutor and took lessons for about a month in a half before stopping because the tutor was quitting the tutor company (I took his number and was going to set up private lessons). Right now I can play the openings to Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes. It's pretty easy and basic. Just tonight, I taught myself the beginning of Pork and Beans by Weezer as that's pretty easy and basic (can't play it as well as Seven Nation but I'm getting there). So I'm really getting into guitar and I'm loving it. Anyone else play anything?

I used to go by Shorty (on other forums) for about 3 years or so and I later added in Sir to make it Sir Shorty. There is a story behind the name Shorty but no need as I don't go by it anymore. I then decided to go by Dr. Feelgood (this is the first forum I've registered as Dr. Feelgood). Dr. Feelgood is the name of a Motley Crue song, it's one of my favorites from them. Dr. Feelgood is actually a drug dealer from the song. Mick Mars is in my top 3 favorite guitar players and he's the one that's playing in the song, so I decided to go with the name. I like it.
