  1. Wonder who they'll get to coach them for the rest of the year?
  2. Well, I heard on our radio station that it's likely Andre Miller will be traded, not for his expiring contract, not because him and Roy both need the ball in their hands to excel, not for any obvious reasons, but because he's too comfortable with losing? The guy that said it, said he heard it from a source from within the organization but I don't believe it for a second. I do think Miller and possibly Camby will be traded.
  3. I think Williams would have owned Williams if it didn't get broken up. Williams is a lucky guy. Williams would have messed him UP!
  4. Batum is listed as day to day. http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2011/01/trail_blazers_forward_nicolas.html Thank god....
  5. Not sure how many people caught last night's game but Nic Batum left the game in the 2nd quarter (I believe, I didn't catch the first half) with a knee injury and did not return. He had an MRI earlier this morning and are awaiting results. I'm hoping everything is okay, if he goes down with a knee injury, there goes Portland's playoff chances unless we get Roy back sooner than later. http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2011/01/boston_88_portland_78_allen_pi.html
  6. Portland has this, they win by at least 28 points tonight..... Well, maybe not by that much but they'll win.
  7. I found this while browsing Oregonlive.com and reading one of the articles, this article was mentions. Here is a list of the most valuable teams in the NBA. 1. New York Knicks - $655 Mil 2. Los Angeles Lakers - $643 Mil 3. Chicago Bulls - $511 Mil 4. Boston Celtics - $452 Mil 5. Houston Rockets - $443 Mil Click for complete list of 30 teams Just a cool little thought. Any surprises for you guys?
  8. Yeah, I hang with my friends at least 3-4 times a week. We go to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings every Thursday ($.65 wing night). On Fridays or Saturdays, we'll go bowling at 11:30PM until 1:30AM. Then on Sundays, we got play basketball at a church for a couple of hours.
  9. Very nice, congrats to OTR. I look forward to staying with the community and watching it grow some more. It's definitely been fun for as long as I've been around.
  10. I just gotta be honest, but that's a terrible username. Welcome to OTR though, glad to see you around. :glasses:
  11. I've watched this clip about 100 times as well. I always laugh when Pop is reaming Manu on the bench, screaming at him and Manu is trying to defend himself. The look on Pop's face at the end is priceless. And I love the "McGrady for the win....YES!". A great moment in NBA history.
  12. I actually have a TMac home Orlando jersey that's authentic (like the ones they wear on the court). I got it from my grandma when she worked at Nike. He's still one of my favorite players in the league and is the only reason why I check Detroit boxscores.
  13. He died yesterday of respiratory failure due to pneumonia. I was reading his Wikipedia page and holy crap, some of the things he did were freaking amazing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_LaLanne#Timeline:_Jack_LaLanne.27s_feats RIP Jack LaLanne.
  14. What a great way to end the game for the Blazers, an amazing oop from Miller to Aldridge.
  15. Lol, no. But LaMarcus has really turned it on in the third.
  16. I know Lee has a great mid range jumper, but that's all LaMarcus did before this season. He's got range all the way out to 3 point. I know Lee does too but I'd bet Aldridge would make more threes in a 3 contest.
  17. I was in the car heading home when I heard the score was 16-2...I get back home and the game is tied. I love the come back and now we've got a half time lead.
  18. Easily Aldridge. He's been carrying the Blazers this year and has improved his game so much. He's got a better jump shot than Lee, has vastly improved his inside game (most of his points now come in the paint where as last year, he was a pick and pop player and shot mid range jumpers), has become a much better defender than last year (still not great but much much better). He's showing that he is the best Blazer on this team right now and is accepting the role that was suddenly given to him due to Roy being out. I've gained so much respect for Aldridge this year and he's easily my favorite Blazer this year. Maybe I'm biased about this but I take Aldridge without a second thought.
  19. Yeah I was gonna say, Kevin Love wins the consecutive double doubles battle with Griffin...even though they lost the game.
  20. I love it, this back and forth between Joel and Cousins is really entertaining. Przybilla is really getting into the head of DeMarcus. You can tell he's really really frustrated. 2-10 shooting for Cousins.
