I wouldn't put the blame on Dwight's FT. Not in this game at least. He shot 50% at FT while the team was shooting 46% from the field, and he made his last two. Defense was bad. It was probably from Duhon getting some time with the starters and not knowing the feel on the defensive schemes. He helped too much off of Toney Douglas. I know it's Toney Douglas, but he made that open 3. The same can be said about Jamison about his lack of experience with the starters. He's had some time with them, but he still can get confused defensively. Lakers are 4th in defensive rebound rate (probably were higher before last night) and Houston is 9th in offensive rebound rate (probably lower before last night). It's what you get when you start the stretch 4, but we obviously didn't compensate for Gasol's rebounds. You usually don't give up 21 offensive rebounds and win.

Pj only had one COTY in all his history with star filled lineups. The criteria for coty usually has more to do with how a coach improved the team compared to the season before. With what new York has been doing, id give it to Woodson. He has his team executing a lot better than last season. If he ends up having trouble incorporating amare seamlessly, id give it to hollins instead.

Pau was terrible tonight. Did absolutely nothing on either side of the floor. he just let the lost happen

Pau is sitting out this one and probably the next game. Makes sense. If his bad play is as a result of his tendonitis, he should have sat out to recover a few games ago.
