Doesn't look like Mitch is going to get a trade done at the deadline, let's just hope that turns out for the best. Time to build some steam into the playoffs!

Welcome to OTR, we could use some more active Bulls fans.

Can the Nuggets make the playoffs?
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
Only guys that I can see the Nuggets parting ways with is Raymond Felton, JR Smith, and Nene, outside of that I don't think there's any reason to trade any other guys unless you can upgrade at the position. The team is good enough to make it into the playoffs as an 8th seed. From the group of guys that they traded for I feel that Gallinari is a a good role player with high upside, and I think he's the long term solution at sf for Denver. Chandler can probably be dealt, but I think Denver is going to overvalue him and that's ultimately going to keep him in Denver . And I think Mogzov is a good experimental player so he wont go anywhere. Nuggets are high on Ty Lawson, so it doesn't make sense to keep Feltons contract. Felton is probably the most likely candidate to be shipped out imo. JR Smith has been in Karls doghouse and has ego issues but that expiring is hard to deal because teams have to either match it or give the Nuggets a tempting offer. And lastly Nene has already made it clear that he wants out of Denver so there's a good chance he'll be on his way out. With that said, the deadline is only a couple days away so it's going to be tough to get multiple deals done by then. -
Can the Nuggets make the playoffs?

Give me one good reason why the Nuggets would want to trade any of those guys? -
The Nuggets currently sit at 32-25 (7th seed), but the Grizzles and Warriors are playing some solid basketball as of late and trail them by one 1 game and 4 games respectively. Can the Nuggets ride this lineup into the postseason: PG. Raymond Felton/Ty Lawson SG. Aaron Afllalo/JR Smith SF. Danillo Gallinari/Wilson Chandler PF. Kenyon Martin C. Nene/Timofey Mozgov/Chris Andersen

Eh, I would much rather not mess with our rotations and play guys out of position.

I don't see how that helps us. We need more frontcourt depth but not at the expense of losing one of our two sf's (Luke Walton doesn't count he sucks).

Derrick Rose. You can't tell me that anyone expected the Bulls to be only 2 games out of first place. With a healthy Boozer and Noah the Bulls are probably the best team in the East. As Brandon said, Rose is doing more with less. Outside of Luol Deng there really isn't another scoring threat on that team and that really speaks volumes about Rose's play this season. Durant probably finishes second, and Dwight finishes third.

I couldn't get less than a 2.0 even if I didn't try. How some of you guys get super low GPA's that's beyond me. -
How many superstars are there in the league?
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
What? KG was still one of the best PF's in the game when he was traded to Boston. He was top 3 in terms of defense (in his position), was the leading rebounder in the NBA the previous four years, and still had one of the most unique offensive skill sets in the league. He wasn't a superstar, but to say that his skills diminished by the time he got to Boston, that's absurd. -
Okay... It's time. Please? Like I'm really begging!

We'll fill all 30 spots real fast, but I guarantee less than half the people would be active on a daily basis. -
Paul Pierce is a much more rounded player. Brandon pretty much covered it as far as offense is concerned. Ray Allen will primarily go down as a catch-and-shoot player and his strength was as always three point shooting. Paul Pierce on the other hand could score inside or outside with equal effectiveness, and on top of that he had a post up game something which cant be said about Ray. Ray Allen has always been an average defender at best, but the same cant be said about Pierce. Pierce has the capabilities of defending the opposing teams best player. He's still one better perimeter defenders in the league.

Sweet. Community as a whole is pretty mature, so I don't see a problem with people abusing it.

Time for Kobe to add to his hardware, ASG MVP #4. Keep the trophies and rings coming. :glasses:

Lebron passing up another big shot, I am surprised.

A triple double in an all-star game, that's pretty ridiculous.
-
Someone tell Kobe he's 5 points away from an NBA record.
-
Melo is signing with the Lakers, Kobe is just trying to keep it confidential. Spread the word.
