I'm satisfied with where we stand at the end of one. Ron Artest is doing a good job bodying up Pierce despite his succcess that quarter. Defensive rotations look a lot better today.
-
It's going to be interesting to see where we get our offense from now that Kobe is out with two fouls. We could be in trouble.
-
Joel Anthony has given Miami a countless number of second chances this quarter.
-
That's the last thing I would do if I was a scrub who got little to no playingtime.
-
Eddie House is such a [expletive]ing joke. I'm gonna hit one shot and then showboat and talk [expletive] to the other team.
-
Durant trying to post Lebron, gtfo. OKC is overrelying on KD.
-
Why is Westbrook not taking Joel/Bosh off the dribble? Stop looking for Durant when you already have a mismatch.
-
Lebron has just locked Durant down this half. Westbrook needs to look to score.
-
Westbrook is playing condemned this half. OKC needs to keep running their offense through him, I'm not a big fan of Durant playing iso ball against Lebron.
-
That was a nasty [expletive] split by Westbrook.
-
I don't understand why that isn't their starting lineup. I still don't see the advantage of having Chalmers in the starting lineup. When you're going to have Wade and LeBron facilitating the offense then you are better off inserting a shooter, like Mike Miller, into the starting lineup.
-
I'm not suprised, Duke has found themselves in some huge holes this season because of their terrible three point shooting.
-
Durant and Westbrook getting some good rest; the second unit for OKC is playing really well on both ends of the floor.
-
This is probably the most up tempo game I've watched this season, a long miss one way or a turnover means numbers going the other way. Stars have put their imprints on the game already, should be a good game rest of the way.
-
Chalmers has no chance defending Westbrook. He's either getting blown past or posted up, the Thunder need to keep exploiting that matchup.

If the Bulls traded for Stephen Jackson...

^An athletic wing player who can score points in loads (when he has his head straight). What isn't there to like? -
If the Bulls traded for Stephen Jackson...

The asking price for someone like OJ Mayo will be a lot higher and that's why I think it's a longshot for the Bulls to land him. Tom Thibodeau is absolutely enamored with Keith Bogans for whatever reason, and I'm certain that the Bulls would much rather just stick with their current roster than give up more than they need to. Stephen Jackson will no doubt be a major upgrade at the position considering how [expletive]ty Keith Bogans has played for the Bulls this season. He can not only help spread the floor with his shooting but he can also defend multiple positions (something which Thibodeau certainly wouldn't mind). I haven't really looked deeply into the stats but just based on the games that I've watched I can confidently say that Chicago is probably at the bottom of the NBA as far as three point shooting is concerned. Outside of Korver their simply isn't a reliable shooter on that entire roster, and come playoff time that will hurt them. If the Bulls were to run into a team like the Celtics or Magic they would be in a heap of trouble simply because both teams are are good at defending the post. Boozer and company would run into a wall offensively. And although Rose has become a better jumpshooter and three point shooter, driving to the hole and getting layups or putting up floaters in the paint is still his bread and butter. Stephen Jackson's scoring ability will open up opportunities for both Boozer and Rose, and his presence alone will force teams to adjust the way they defend Chicago. Jackson certainly bears a big contract and is at the peak of his career, but I certainly think Chicago can make a push in the Eastern Conference is they acquire him. There certainly are other options out there (JR Smith, OJ Mayo, ect.), but Jackson's his post season experience and leadership makes him much more valuable. -

Def didn't steal it word-for-word. The guy simply put the trade up, nothing more. <_< -
Would they be considered a top tier team like the Lakers/Spurs/Celtics? Could this team make it to the NBA Finals? Earlier in the season, I think early December, the Bulls were rumored to trade Taj Gibson and James Johnson for Stephen Jackson. However for salaries sake let's consider something like, Taj Gibson, James Johnson, and Kyle Korver/Ronnie Brewer. With this trade the Bulls would undoubtedly upgrade at sg, but lose a solid rotation player in Taj Gibson who has progressed on both ends of the floor. A healthy Bulls lineup would look something like this: PG-Derrick Rose SG-Stephen Jackson SF-Luol Deng PF-Carlos Boozer C-Joakim Noah Key bench reserves-Kyle Korver/Ronnie Brewer, Omer Asik, Kurt Thomas, CJ Watson

Marvin Williams-Shawn Williams throwdown
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in General NBA Discussion
Apparently Horford was irritating Amare after the game by urging the crowd to cheer when he was at the line and then screaming after blocking a Stoudemire shot. This is what Amare had to say: Just throwing it out there for discussions sake. -
Tony Parker is slipping and sliding all over the place.
-
Rose's shooting percentage has been taking a beating the past few games. The stomach ulcers really seem to limiting as far as his quickness and is concerned. But then again, maybe it's just me.
-
Thib's needs to keep Boozer on the bench, Taj Gibson is ballin right now. He has been automatic with that mid range jumper.
-
I don't know what's up with Rose and slow starts, he doesn't seem to get into the flow of things until later in games.
-
Some early turnovers for the Bulls, but they're getting a lot of open looks with their unselfish play. I don't understand Thibodeau's obsession with Keith Bogans, he letting him play even when he's straight up getting torched.
