Ron Artest for OJ Mayo would be a terrible trade for the Lakers at this point. I could understand this trade if Barnes was healthy, but under our current circumstances we cant pull the trigger on such a deal. There's no doubt that we would benifit offensively, but there is a big time defensive dropoff. This trade wouldn't make sense for either team. However as Brandon pointed out this deal could involve us either shipping out Steve Blake or Shannon Brown which I certainly wouldn't mind. OJ Mayo would make an excellent sixth man; you add him alongside Lamar Odom and that alone makes our bench elite. I personally don't have any issues with our bench. Once Barnes comes back healthy, we'll be good to go. With that said, I'm all for a OJ Mayo trade as long as it doesn't involve any of our starting five.

Dwight needs to stay out of early foul trouble if the Magic want to win this game. Work the ball inside-out, taking advantage of Dwights size and speed, and they should come out successful.

On a night Kobe Bryant got a double-double in points and assist, shoot 13-25 (that's 52% from the field) for 32 points and garnering 11 assists, Daniel Artest had this to say: in regards to Marc Stein's ESPN report of Ron wanting to be traded, this is what Daniel said: STEIN_LINE_HQ For real? So I'm not really sure how valid the Ron Artest rumors are, they could just be based off Ron Artests brother. We'll just have to wait and find out.

Kobe has been more of a facilitator in the first half of most games this last month. He's able to conserve his energy and when we need him he has been able to turn it on in the second half of games. We either win on his shoulders or we go down with him trying.
